Then well, refer to good old common sense? C'mon it isn't all that hard.
It seems common isn't common enough.
Also, side question, I've always referred to Whites as Caucasians. Wonder if that's correct.
To keep it simple, Caucasian is an umbrella term for European races. One may argue that some Europeans aren't white and therefore, I'm trying to look for any obvious examples. Still searching.
I just read; Caucasian is an umbrella term for a few races of people, stretching from Europe, to North Africa, all the way to South Asia. So, I'm a Mongoloid too!
I think caucasian is a pretty old term that includes alot of differet groups. It's better to use other terms to refr to ethnicities (or more specific terms anyway).
As for my nationality I would say I'm English rather than British. What do any other people from the U.K. refer to themselves as?
I still tick 'Caucasian' on my university forms. I think it's a good term. When it says 'white British' I expect there to be a 'black British' or 'tan British' next to it :/
I refer to myself as English because I am not Scottish, Irish or Welsh, so I can't say I'm British. But everyone else not from England calls me British, so what the hells ^^
One may argue that some Europeans aren't white
I'd say they are, just lots of them have been in the sun too long
African Puerto Rican French (kinda) Spanish Indian
Oh yeah! xD
I forgot to put American xD
You have one nationality, as stated in your passport/identification papers. You can have multiple ancestry, but if your passport states you're American, you are American.
Well, mines weird. I am Hungarian-American on my dad's side and Scottish-American on my mom's side. So I'm Mongrel. It means all sorts of nationalities
