Oh, I couldn't agree more there nicho! They are almost always defined as little-girl-material... but I have my fair share of songs by B-Bands I really like! =)
Oh yes, they are the best example of B-Bands that evolved over the years! =)
Take their song "The Call" for example... can't say it's a girlish song, or even a super awesome song, but that marked their change and evolving from girl magnet B-Band to a broader audience!
Meh, they're okay for the modern teen-girl scenario. I don't like them. They will most likely end up with every song on their album a love song because the producer told them so and every music vid on the beach. They prolly get their hair done for them.
I'm not a fan of boy bands, but I'm not going to go out of my way to say I hate them or start making idiotic comments everywhere. That being said, my younger sister is obsessed with One Direction. So much so that today, she wanted to eat chile with a fork because one of the members of One Direction apparently has a fear of spoons. She also wanted a twitter so she could basically creep on the members of one direction. So, I don't like One Direction simply for the fact that my sister won't shut up about them.
Wow, I was right on with my makeshift definition from the previous page!
I guess I know my boy-bands!
@ Skeleton_Pilot : Yes you were and yes you do! And there's nothing wrong with that!
"Larger Than Life" by the Backstreet Boys.
Actually another good example of a more matured BsB song there Ernie! =)

Well, seeing as their biggest and first based group of followers consists of largely teenage girls... the idea of having mostly love songs in their repertoire is suitable to the crushes those girls usually have on the members of those BoyBands you know...

And THAT RIGHT THERE confirms my theory on the obsession teenage girls get for BoyBands... just like why the management of BoyBands keeps encouraging them to sing love songs and attract even more teenage girls! Moneymoneymoneymoneymoney... Tsh-thsing!!! ($.$)

Obsession *SOME* teen girls get for BoyBands.
Also - not always a true theory, where do we lesbians come into it? :P
I do hope you're joking. Otherwise I'm going to have to lecture you on everything wrong with that statement.
LOL man its called Sarcasm, Have u Heard of it????? But yes i was joking :P But in the end i don't really like them that much so i will just keep away from this Thread
