What does that have to do with anything? Of course they're going to do it at night. They might get a little suspicious if they see a couple giant American helicopters approaching a compound mid- day. Plus it's pretty common knowledge that there is such a thing as night- vision, or infrared.

Not necessarily. First off the Pakistan Government and the American governments are very different. Second off, the government needs some type of reason to suspect that he lives there. If he doesn't do anything bat shi-ite crazy (see what I did there?) the government doesn't know that he's actually there. Second off, yes you can ID people in the dark, we have very sensitive infrared equipment that lets you see in the dark. Third off, The seals kicked in the door. He was probably petrified and crapping his pants. He's not going to go John McClain and dive over the bed, dodging a hail of bullets, grabbing his gun, reloading it mid-air, and turning a guy into Swiss cheese before flipping over the desk, hiding behind it and having a huge shootout. If info was released that he wasnt dead. Americans would go insane. If hes was not "killed". Americans would elect someone who would pull troops out because they would view the war as a war of attrition.

HE'S DEAD. plain and simple. I'm certain that if he wasn't, he would have released a video by now saying so.
