Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.
I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.
The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.
Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.
^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.
And, of course, the Canadian classic...
If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.
What makes ice cream Pepsi different from regular vanilla Pepsi?
Who here would try this, and eat the whole thing?
A couple bites would be alright, but the whole thing might be too much. I will agree with the popular consensus that it looks a lot better than spaghetti and cheese ice cream and it sounds better than government cheese.
Lol mitt romney hates you.. I like how one is a radish. xp
"Dude, I was so drunk last night!" "What'd you get drunk off of?" "Cheese."
HAHAHAHAhaha.. oh god, that one actually killed me.. nice job dude..lol.. can you get drunk off government cheese too? lol.. how about regular cheese ice cream?
Is that all cheese in a tube? I agree, prawns do not belong anywhere near that stuff. Not sure how bad it would be in comparison to cheese-flavored ice cream.
Sorry, my mistake, these are the three finalists.
Can you still find any of those? I always looked for Sriracha when the contest was running but I never could find it.
I remember they started selling that cheese spread in a store here in August of 2012. I bought it just to try it out, tasted more like cheese than chocolate, despite the colour.
This post might be a bit long for the 8th post on the page, but that just means the thread will get more page views from people referring back to this post in their posts.
What makes ice cream Pepsi different from regular vanilla Pepsi?
Pepsi Ice Cream was only sold in Russia, while Pepsi Vanilla was only available in the United States in Canada.
Speaking of Pepsi, Germany has an orange-cola flavored beverage called Schwip Schwap.
The three finalists for the Do Us A Flavor competition were weirder.
No wonder "Mitt Romney Doesn't Like You" won; the other two were just standard potato flavors. Radish-flavored chips are far surely far more interesting.
Unfortunately, no such potato chips actually exist, but people have made chips out of sliced radishes.
how about regular cheese ice cream?
Apparently available only in the Philippines. Here are some more bizarre ice cream flavors from around the world, Quezo Real included. There are a few on that list that make cheese look like one of Baskin Robbins' 31 original flavors.
The prawn one sounds especially wretch inducing.
That is truly a random combination. I can picture an English businessman suggesting prawns as a new flavor for their cheese spread at some kind of press conference, but only in the form of a British comedy sketch.
There is certainly no reason to ever put prawns and cheese together.
Can you still find any of those? I always looked for Sriracha when the contest was running but I never could find it.
The winner, Cheesy Garlic Bread, is still available in certain locations. The other two vanished shortly after the contest was over, and even then they were only available in select locations.
Sticking with cheese:
Not only do they make it in milk chocolate; it's also available in dark chocolate.
I've never been big on frozen fries, but what I can't figure out about these is why they're packaged like Crayola crayons in the 64-color set.
It's also baffling that people would buy their fries in such small quantities. Compared to the size of an Ore Ida fry sack, these Fries-to-Go seem like a terrible investment.
Looks like that bag contains more than 24 fries. Granted, you have to put them in the oven, but you get at least 3x the fried potato-ey goodness.
which one do people like better in Germany, the schwip schwap or mezzo mix?
You'll have to ask someone who lives or has lived in Germany. @UnleashedUponMankind may be able to help you with your query.
Pepsi is doing a better job making their Schwip Scwhap look appetizing than Coke is doing with Mezzo Mix. They probably taste identical, but I would rather buy Schwip Schwap.
Not only do they make it in milk chocolate; it's also available in dark chocolate.
Now that might be something I could get addicted to. I shouldn't even try it since I have no intention of gaining any pounds.
Also, it's apparently available exclusively in Australia, so @DrElmer, I'm counting on a review from you.
If I decide to take a 37 hour, 3,500 km drive to Fremantle, I will try their fishy ice cream. Until then, you won't be hearing about it from me.
Apparently this is Australian, so we'll make @DrElmer try it and tell us about it.
Again, this dish is not local. Adelaide is a good 8 hours away, and that's certainly not a distance I'm willing to drive for a meat pie in some pea soup. That's literally all it is. I could make a meat pie at home and plop it into some pea soup. How much is really left up to the imagination?
