Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.

I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.

The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.

Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.

^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.

And, of course, the Canadian classic...

If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.

Oreos are turning into other cookies, like Chips Ahoy and Rice Krispy treats. What ever happened to Oreos just being themselves?

Finally, an opportunity for a longer post near the top of a page.

@Ferret brought up a pizza cake in the food thread. Naturally, I had to look into whether or not such a thing actually existed, and sure enough...

If anyone lives near a Boston Pizza, which are actually mostly in Canada, we're counting on you for the taste test.

I don't know if I trust that brrrger. That green slime sauce doesn't look like something that should be anywhere near food.

Odds are, it's the same stuff as the yellow and red stuff but with a different color of food coloring. It isn't a very attractive shade of green, but it isn't any more repulsive than green Heinz ketchup.

Here in Britain, we like our foods to give us heart disease as quickly as possible.

Something tells me Stefano Faita's fried spaghetti sandwich will escort you to the light at the end of the tunnel a bit sooner.

Recipe.

Ice cream and BACON?!?! That is just sick!

Is it? Then you better get a bucket.

A bucket of bacon ice cream, that is.

I've never seen that version before, but I did try clown bologna in Denmark the last time I was there. It tasted like normal bologna.

Did it taste funny?

Okay I'm not sure if these have popped up before but I just saw them today.

You saw these? In real life? Where did you see them? I must have them.

What ever happened to Oreos just being themselves?

What's so wrong about Oreos intermingling with other cookies?

Oreos sound good. Especially cookie dough. I'm a bit of a cookie dough freak. Though I do like marshmallow...

Though maybe not that much. Those just look like little poops. Yuck.
(In case anyone's wondering, they're supposedly made of marshmallow.)

I never thought of string cheese as weird, even though it is pretty strange once you think about it. I still don't quite agree with the fried spaghetti sandwich, but the pizza cake has some potential.

Though I do like marshmallow...

If you're into marshmallows, mitchmallows will not let you down when it comes to interesting flavors. The selection includes, but is not limited to...

Peanut Butter & Chocolate

Ginger Wasabi

Pretzels & Beer

Wine & Cheese

And that's only the beginning.

Cheese stings. Peelable processed cheese.

What about Slovakian string cheese? (and check out that crazy Wikipedia link)

Put that in your child's lunch and see if he ever complains about vegetables again.

I still don't quite agree with the fried spaghetti sandwich, but the pizza cake has some potential.

You'll have Stefano to thank when McDonald's introduces the all new Southern Style Spaghetti-wich.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough soda anyone?

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a631/Terry_Inferno/36935eab-6577-48f2-b683-2dfe524039f4_zpsfc2259a4.jpg

The image was taken by me, and I did drink the entire thing. It wasn't bad at all, actually. I would recommend it, and I would even consider buying it again.

The same store also sold bacon soda, but the manager explained that it tasted like bacon oil, and that kids would buy it to have contests to see who could chug the most bacon. I didn't have anybody to chug with, so I went with cookie dough bites instead.

You forgot to tell us what it tastes like. Is the chocolate flavor overwhelming, or does it actually taste like delicious cookie dough?

Seeing that image made me think of Coco Fizz.

I can't relate the flavor of Coco Fizz to anything in particular, but the chocolate element is a bit disappointing.

The peanut butter & chocolate marshmallows don't look bad, but I can't say the same for the others. Pretzels & beer would even be a stretch. Chocolate soda could be alright.

I haven't seen or heard anything about a dandruff bean, but the Bertie Bott's flavors are along those same lines.

Where did you hear about this specially made Jelly Belly?

Guess what I had for breakfast today?

A bacon waffle!

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a631/Terry_Inferno/5bfccdc6-f5fd-45ea-95b1-ce8309c6313b_zps33dfa582.jpg

I saw it on the menu at a nearby breakfast place and I couldn't pass it up. It wasn't sweet like a regular waffle, so it required a triple dose of syrup.

Seeing that image made me think of Coco Fizz.

I actually tried that once. It wasn't bad, but I never had any desire to drink it again. The cookie dough soda had a much stronger chocolate flavor. It tasted just like something in particular, but although I remember the flavor quite well I can't place what it tasted like.
