Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.
I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.
The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.
Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.
^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.
And, of course, the Canadian classic...
If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.
Ever tasted pizza chips or pickle chips? I used to eat those all the time, especially pickle chips after killing my taste buds and stomach with vinegar chips. What was I thinking? Now I have to drink Pepto Bismol for dessert after each meals! I don't know if I should LOL or cry!!!
I leave for 10 days and a page and a half appears. Good to know this thread can survive without me even in harsh forum conditions, considering how many times I had to revive the 2011 edition when the community was way bigger.
It's all the way back on page 25, but I've actually tried those hotdog chips and I can't complain. With a 7/11 cherry lemonade, you can't go wrong with those chips.
They are nasty, evil, midget bananas.
You're thinking of apple bananas. The misconception about the size of plantains is the fault of Family Guy, which I no longer watch because of the outrageous cult following and the people that use it as a source for information.
Ramble ramble ramble....back on topic. It doesn't matter where in the world that pizza is sold, you can tell by looking at it that Pizza Hut came up with it.
pickle chips
I actually just came across this new Pringles flavor not too long ago in a gas station store near the California/Oregon border:
They didn't hurt my digestive system, but they made me sneeze like a madman. Still, they were some of the most flavorful chips I've ever eaten and if I could find them anywhere else, I'd by a few cans and....well, actually just thinking about it is making my nose tickle.
I've had Buttered Popcorn jellybeans. My reaction: "Buttered popcorn jellybeans. Okay.... i'll try it...." I put one in my mouth." Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwww" Oh my God! Who would eat that!? By the way I bought Mixed Jelly Belly.
Aw man... why are all the interesting soda flavors not available in the States? Are that many Americans afraid of a few creative beverages here and there?
Don't buy the mixed flavors. Ever. Most of them are novelty flavors, like buttered popcorn, caramel corn, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate pudding, margarita, etc. Out of the 49 flavors, only about 20 are actually worth eating.
Go to a candy store with individual jelly belly dispensers. It may cost a bit more, but you'll get your money's worth if you only select the flavors you want.
Aw man... why are all the interesting soda flavors not available in the States?
Just mix Fanta with Coke. I was doing that years before I found out about Coke Orange.
These ramen snacks are actually a decent chip substitute. Ignore the Asiatic writing in the middle of the bag, that's irrelevant to the product as far as I know.
Corn on the cob and pecan pie look decent, but the others... well, let's just say I'm not in the least bit tempted to try any of them! Including the previously mentioned broccoli casserole flavor!
Ah well. At least Jones isn't discriminatory when it comes to holidays...
There are certain Jones flavors I have a tough time believing, but I will admit that I haven't tried any of them so I can't be one to discredit them at this time.
I can't tell if these flavors are hoaxes or not.
However, if Jones is #1 in the world for most creative flavors, Pepsi is still first when it comes to weirdest.
But there are still weird sodas out there that I would pay big money for....if I had big money.
@ Jones Easter flavors Lol, the Peep one looks real, but the graphics on the meat ones don't "meat" the Jones standard! Haha.
@ 3 little Pepsis Strawberry Pepsi? Raspberry Pepsi? Tropical Pepsi? I don't know, those don't sound bad at all! But those are some pretty old-looking cans, so those flavors are definitely long-gone...
@ Pepsi Gold and Kick Aside from the weird names, neither of those variants look as though they taste any different from regular Pepsi.
@ Live Savers soda I can't imagine them being that much different from Fanta, aside from the additional lime and fruit punch flavors... now if they had butterscotch punch to go with it...
