Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.

I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.

http://steveandamysly.tannerworld.com/databank/2006/image_jonessoda_2006_holiday_holidaypack_antacidflavored_review3.jpg

The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.

Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.

^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.

And, of course, the Canadian classic...

If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.

Tea eggs sound thousands of times better.

Apparently they are sold at 7-Eleven throughout Taiwan. They don't sound bad, but personally I would rather have a Slurpee.

It's St. Patrick's Day weekend. Anyone up for a Shamrock Shake?

http://blog.zap2it.com/pop2it/shamrock-shake.jpg

I'll be honest, I've never tried one of these, partly due to my intolerance to lactose-based products, but as far as McDonald's-related goals go, trying a Shamrock Shake before I die is on my list.

I bought a bottle of soda today that made me think of this thread. Although images of it exist online, I decided to take my own picture of it to prove that I'm not making up some ridiculous tale about soda.

http://i1287.photobucket.com/albums/a631/Terry_Inferno/pumpkinpiesoda_zps66af54bf.jpg

The flavor was mostly cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and various other spices. It tasted a little like pumpkin pie, but what it reminded me of the most was a severely less bitter version of San Pellegrino's Chinotto.

http://s.productreview.com.au/products/images/chinotto_4d082dd38e78d.png

That one's a stock image. The next one isn't a bizarre food flavor, but I captured it in the residential dining hall a few months ago and I thought it was funny.

It looks more decorative than edible. There is no easy way to eat the strawberries and the kit-kats at the same time. Haha.

I was at a restaurant yesterday--one of those Bay Area hipster places--and on one appetizer plate I spotted the romanesco broccoli Ernie posted on page 92. I had forgotten what it was called, but I had recognized it from this thread, so I looked through pages via phone until I found the picture and link to it.

Looks like nobody is going for the Shamrock Shake. At least I'm not the only one who could care less about it.

Asia's Green Tea McFlurry may have a more interesting flavor.

Pumpkin Pie soda is pretty strange, but it's not as bizarre as some of Lester's other Fixins.

http://images1.vat19.com/lesters-sodas/lesters-sodas-flavors.jpg

This brand is scattered throughout the various pages of MBFF (and the buffalo wing flavor is the first item posted in this thread), but ranch dressing is one we have not yet seen if I recall correctly.

This guy sure seems excited about Lester's Fixins:

What is this?

I want to say it's a popcorn-flavored Kit-Kat, but that doesn't seem correct. What did you search to find that?

Also, here are some other interesting flavors from Japan. Potato will always be my favorite.

http://foodnetworkhumor.com/img/kitkat-12.jpg

Just in time for St. Paddy's Day.

There is no easy way to eat the strawberries and the kit-kats at the same time.

It is pretty, though. It would make a good centerpiece until all of the strawberries went bad or were eaten. Then it would just be a circular display of delicious chocolate candy, which would still end up being a popular centerpiece.

You know I too live in the Bay Area. What place would this be? Also, what did this odd vegetable taste like?

Just to prove Britain is capable of weird food too, I give you this:

Oh it gets even weirder than that.

http://rocktreesky.com/sites/rocktreesky.com/files/spottedD.jpg

The name is the weirdest part, though. It's really not that strange an idea. Just pudding with raisins in it.

You should try it, it's amazing!

@DrElmer

Oh, how that looks so appetizing ^^

It's roasted sweet potato.

Ever since they pulled the plug on Fish McBites, things between Mickey and I have not been the same.

There was a bacon soda of another brand, but I decided to stick with pumpkin pie and save the others for another time. Next time I visit that candy store in Danville, it will be bacon soda's turn.

A traditional English breakfast includes beans. For me, England isn't going to be able to top that one.

Not even with Walker's "crisps".

http://www.english-shop.de/images/walkers%20crisps%20standard%20mixed%20box%20L.jpg

Prawn ****tail? Pickled onion? Worcester sauce? Blimey!

You should try it, it's amazing!

The aftershock is not.

It's roasted sweet potato.

Not to be confused, of course, with candied sweet potato.

http://foodnetworkhumor.com/img/kitkat-6.jpg

Or, on page 107 (long post), standard potato.

Ever since they pulled the plug on Fish McBites, things between Mickey and I have not been the same.

At least they weren't as big a flop as the Mighty Wings.

http://www.grubgrade.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/Mighty-Wings-Box.jpg

Honestly, did even a single person order these ever? What was McDonald's thinking, leaving the bone in the chicken like that?

Next time I visit that candy store in Danville, it will be bacon soda's turn.

If that wasn't all the way on the other side of the tunnel, I'd be tempted.

You evidently never saw the competition flavours.

A few of them were posted in the 2011 edition, but I don't recall seeing them anywhere in this thread so far until now.

Then we have Lays in Asia (Laysia?):

Why the kiwi ones are cool while the mango ones are warm is one thing we may never truly understand.

or

Marmite? What about Vegemite?

I've lived in Australia for nearly a decade and I still can't bring myself to like vegemite. Smiths has some other strange crisps, the chicken flavors in particular.
