Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.
I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.
The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.
Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.
^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.
And, of course, the Canadian classic...
If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.
Tea eggs sound thousands of times better.
It's St. Patrick's Day weekend. Anyone up for a Shamrock Shake?
I'll be honest, I've never tried one of these, partly due to my intolerance to lactose-based products, but as far as McDonald's-related goals go, trying a Shamrock Shake before I die is on my list.
I bought a bottle of soda today that made me think of this thread. Although images of it exist online, I decided to take my own picture of it to prove that I'm not making up some ridiculous tale about soda.
The flavor was mostly cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and various other spices. It tasted a little like pumpkin pie, but what it reminded me of the most was a severely less bitter version of San Pellegrino's Chinotto.
That one's a stock image. The next one isn't a bizarre food flavor, but I captured it in the residential dining hall a few months ago and I thought it was funny.
It looks more decorative than edible. There is no easy way to eat the strawberries and the kit-kats at the same time. Haha.
I was at a restaurant yesterday--one of those Bay Area hipster places--and on one appetizer plate I spotted the romanesco broccoli Ernie posted on page 92. I had forgotten what it was called, but I had recognized it from this thread, so I looked through pages via phone until I found the picture and link to it.
Looks like nobody is going for the Shamrock Shake. At least I'm not the only one who could care less about it.
Asia's Green Tea McFlurry may have a more interesting flavor.

What is this?

Just to prove Britain is capable of weird food too, I give you this:

Pumpkin Pie soda is pretty strange, but it's not as bizarre as some of Lester's other Fixins.
It's really not that strange an idea.
You should try it, it's amazing!
It's roasted sweet potato.
Ever since they pulled the plug on Fish McBites, things between Mickey and I have not been the same.
Next time I visit that candy store in Danville, it will be bacon soda's turn.
Prawn ****tail? Pickled onion? Worcester sauce? Blimey!
You evidently never saw the competition flavours.

I've lived in Australia for nearly a decade and I still can't bring myself to like vegemite. Smiths has some other strange crisps, the chicken flavors in particular.
