I read the TaC and it mostly says things about harassment and stuff. It mentions "sockpuppeting", but I believe it doesn't show the reasons why that ban is included.
c.) Users are permitted to create ONE alternate account for each multiplayer game with the sole intention to join a "group" or "clan" with that group or clan name as part of their username. However, these alternate user accounts are NOT permitted to post messages in the forums, on game pages, or on other user profile pages. Each alternate account you create MUST be linked in your primary account's biography, and each alternate account's biography must link back to your primary account name in its profile area. The alternate account profile must turn off profile comments so users may not leave messages on that account. Failure to comply can result in removal of messages, as well as temporary or permanent bans to the accounts in question, with or without notice, at the sole discretion of Armor Games. We reserve the right to limit each player to one alternate account per multiplayer game, and reserve the right to prohibit any user from creating alternate accounts.
Or, to sum up: You are allowed to have an alt that is relevant to a clan. This alt must not post comments anywhere. Doing so will get you banned. You posted a comment with your alt.
Technically you have not linked to your alternate account either, nor stated the above is your main, which is two other breaks of the rules.
Do you guys think, this ban (sockpuppeting) is logical?
No. Alt accounts for clans aren't even logical. Much less essentially getting a double vote for all game ratings, being able to farm AP off of yourself, and it being a 100% pointless endeavor for a purely superficial goal.
I'm with Kasic. Alts are useless, trouble and annoying. Even when they have a function, they are the above. Never liked them, never approved of them, have seen way too many people abuse them and get in trouble in stupid ways using them. So, a ban should not be necessary, because people should stick to one account.
With the world as it is, I consider the ban completely justified and logical, and I was cheering when Ian/Cormyn made it official, because alts were becoming a huge issue of stupidity around then. Considering it was also at the same time against the rules to write in your own comments (dunno what the current rules are), it was double trouble to post on your profile while masked as another member... So, I almost wish they would terminate alts at any rule broken, instead of just temp banning them...

Commenting on your own profile is considered spam and does not award AP unless you do it as an alt, then the points go to your alt, not your main account.

So, absolutely nothing has changed, except you not mentioning anything about "excessive" commenting on own profile. As for the last part, I had really absolutely not idea what so ever how the AP might be working in such a situation T T...
Either way, it is generally incredible creepy to see people commenting on their own profile (or on their alt's profile), because they are basically talking to themselves for whatever reason they might have. Having an alt just changes it to talking to yourself with different voices, a bit like Gollum.
Just because it is an alternate account doesnt mean you can't be involved in Armor Games. I want to be involved in this in both ways. My original account and my other account.
Why? Why would you divide your activity onto two different accounts you are forced to link together so everyone knows it is you anyway? What is the sense behind dividing the effort of creating a good relationship with the community when you are using what in terms of the internet is two different names, two faces, two identities, but two identities that are bound together like Siamese twins? Sorry, it does not make sense to me. I am all behind making an identity on an account, but... So, please do explain this urge to me.
