I got banned for using my other account for commenting on my Shock account. I wonder what is wrong with that. I even got banned for 3 days!

So the topic goes downhill. No one so far commented about "sockpuppeting".

I think we answered all your questions, and all of them were about alts and sockpuppeting. I don't know what else you want to know and understand, but I'm just leaving it at the conclusion that you're just thick. Or a troll. Or both.

So Cenere, answered what I needed to know.

Someone said I can ask a Moderator to do something about my alt.

Here is probably my last question.

What can Moderators do to your account (in a beneficial way)?

For example; Merits, extra Armor Points, etc.

AP cannot be transferred or given in ways other than the stats that give AP. However, mods can give merits to comments. There is nothing else they can do that's beneficial.

In the case of an alt account, they can allow you stuff.
If you ask them nicely if you can make an alt for every multiplayer game on this site, they are probably going to tell you yes.
That is pretty much it, but being allowed to do stuff is always awesome.

Also, as someone pointed out (Probably Nicho), your alt account, while not allowed to interact with other users via comments or posts, are allowed to rate games, which in your case might be a good way to earn those AP you need for the armatars, as long as you do so respectfully and naturally.
That is, if you spam-rate, you will probably not be allowed to keep the alts at all, but if you play the games over again and then rate, all is well, and you will be gaining a bit of AP for your case.

So, you might be able to get an armatar that is acceptable to you.

Okay, so alt can rate games, but they can't earn merits becuase they can't comment. Right?

Yes....that was answered right at the start, without 8 pages of beating around the bush. Also, you need to lock your wall on your alt.

Lock your wall? How do you do that?

Also, I want to change my alt account's name. Can I ask an Administrator or a Moderator to do that?

That means to disable comments on your alt.

You cannot change your username in AG2.

That's good.

I want to change my alt's name. Either that or I will make a new account so I can start a Phage Wars Live clan.

Wow, what a thread! 8 pages of stuff that could have been compacted into 1 page

I think its really logical to ban for sockpuppetting, though its original purpose was deception. Why would you confuse people with alt accounts on forums etc when there's really no reason for it. Its really stupid and immature.
