Hi,
My main problem is with the AG team and it's been for a while now. Perhaps that's not the place to post about it but..... who cares?

So from the very beginning that I signed in (2 years ago), I couldn't help but notice that clicking on my user page sent me to some other user's profile with the SAME USERNAME...

Perhaps he shut his account cause he registered before I did, but the PROBLEM REMAINS.

Can you please do sth about it? Has it happened to anyone else? Is it a bug or a policy flaw to allow the same username to more than 1 people?...

-Thanks

This is a fairly old problem, and it's happened to quite a few people over the years. What happens is, two people technically can't share the exact same username, but back in the day, people could have the same basic username just as long as they didn't have the same amount of underscores. For example...

http://armorgames.com/user/Ernie15
http://armorgames.com/user/Ernie_15
http://armorgames.com/user/er_nie_1_5

...all lead to my profile, even though only the first URL actually matches the exact configuration of my name.

What probably happened in your case was someone registered under the name of Black_Goat or some other variation of your username with underscores. Regardless of the content of the variants, I believe it will take you to whichever user signed in most recently. You should probably be able to see your profile within the next few days.

The other user with the same name probably used an uppercase i rather than an l.

Yep. Good thing the use of underscores in registering has been blown, since users with underscores who have been banned by higher-ups also ban the other users who share the name.
