My favourite game of everything is Minecraft. I am still just playing the alpha, but I'm wathing captainsparklez's "minecraft survival let's play" series. By watching it, it didn't look like my favourite flash game castaway 2. But when I was listening to it I heard such stuff like:
Crafting Gold and iron ingots or ores Health regenerating
All these stuff are in the flash game Castaway 2. That means that maybe the one who made castaway 2 copied the idea of minecraft.
Health regeneration is in almost every game with health.
"Ore" a term for unprocessed metal and is in many games as well. Ingot is the name for a unit of processed metal and in many games.
^This.
And other games with crafting include, but is not limited to, World of Warcraft (and pretty much any other MMORPG), Skyrim (and many, if not most, RPGs) and Team Fortress 2 (a freaking FPS).
No offence, but I'm going to have to say that your reasoning is ridiculous.
It's an absolute insult to Minecraft's massive creative gameplay initiative to suggest that because there are a few meager vocabulary similarities between two games that they are one-in-the-same, as is an insult to the creators of Castaway 2, of whom you have accused of copying off Minecraft.
And it's proper that we stomp on your flames of mis-judged information, lest they continue to burn and spread to the outlying populace and besmirch both high-quality games and their respective creators.
Jeff im sorry but mincraft and castaway 2 are NOTHING the same so if you want people to stop saying this you should get a moderator to lock this thread
Wait they are absolutely nothing in common. I don't get how you can make that comparison. I know that you are posting I got it, but you have to expect to keep having people post on this topic until it gets locked. Besides, all of the things you listed are in like a majority of the rpg games out there. They are also present in Skyrim, Runescape (shoot me I know), and etc.
