I'm not gonna log on tuesday, then. :P

FAITH is the defenite part of believing in something. The only basic proof that you deny god is because you can't sense him. But if theres Historic evidence to proove this, and logical evidence. [For example, do you HONESTLY think that Humans, Animals, the Earth] were all a coincidence? Please... I'm sure theres more to it. :P

i think that in order to believe in evolution, evolutionists must have just as much faith as christians. just as evolutionists say that no one was around to see God create the earth, there also wasn't anyone around to see that first single celled ameoba sprout a leg for no apparent reason either.

along with darwin being documented as saying that he didn't really believe in evolution, many top scientists have figured out the probability of evolution actually happening. they found that the odds are so slim that if you took a pocket watch, completely disassembled it, put all the parts of it in a coffee can, and shook it up, reach inside and pull out a perfectly assembled, workin watch set to the correct time and date, doing that would be more likely to happen.

what?

could you, maybe, say that better?
I got lost at the end...

What's your point?

That the chances of Evolutionism are slim to none. Things don't evolve for nothing, so why did the ameoba evolve? He's saying sure theres reason for animals after the simplest life forms to evolve, but the Ameoba or something like that sprouting a leg and starting to develop for no reason is a waste of time.

Learn to understand. :P

No one may have been around to see God create the earth, but I wasn't around to see Thomas Edison invent the lightbulb. Here it is. I can believe he made it. xP

Sure, he's recorded in history, but God is too in the Bible.

The holy books in the world are written so poetically and amazingly that people have challenged others to write something better than that. No one has. Why? Its gods message.

ok... I thought you were on the other side of the argument... but some people say that God used evolution to create the earth... but that is never referenced to in the Bible... you would think He would put that in...

Evolution is a theory, fat concepted guess.

You're telling me that a guess should be recorded or mentioned in the Bible when it doens't exist?

Dun think so. xP

lol, No problem, Facerip.

that's kind of funny. why would God create something,(evolution) so it could then slowly over "millions of years" turn into plankton, then a fish, then a lizard, then a bird and then somehow into a monkey and then finally into a human when he could just cut out all that junk and make a perfect human in one try. he wouldn't and he didn't!

You seem to need reason for evolution, but our model of evolution does not require a "reason" for changes. Some mutations are good and some are not, but it's the nature of very simple celled creatures like that to develop these mutations over time.
Of course evolution isn't mentioned in the the bible, which is why people either have to develop ad-hoc theories that it actually could be in the bible, only metaphorically, or they just reject evolution outright. Both actions are an insult to our ability to reason.

Also, whoever said that Darwin didn't believe in evolution... just do some fact checking before you make some blatantly incorrect statement like that. I'm sure a few minutes on the ol' Googler never hurt anyone.

Or god was completely uninvolved in the process due to a severe case of non-existence.

but moe, do you really think that millions upon billions upon trillions of "good" mutations would happen, over as many years, and it be just a coincidence?
