That depend of what you want to use it for. I bought an Itomic E-reader for $29 at Wal-Mart and I love it! It can read pdf,doc,djVu,mobi,Epub,txt. You can look at pictures in PNG, BMP,and JPEG. It also can play videos and movies, can be upgraded with up to 32 GB flash card. It is backlit so I can read in the dark. It comes with a leather case, and 150 free ebooks, wi-fi, etc. xD
I prefer iPad because it has so many uses and is very productive. So you could use an iPad for almost anything. That is why I got an iPad and I haven't regretted it yet.
iPad. My brother has a Kindle Fire, and he isn't extremely happy with it. He likes it, but says he would rather have an iPad. They have more apps and Memory.
why? because they are not compatible whit any other systems then apple. so by buying 1 of their products they force you to buy other apple products or els it works only 50%
i know microsoft was sued when they did something like that in the past. and had to change it all when they nearly became a monopoly. why is apple allowed to force people to buy their products. and microsoft isn't anymore?
i don't want to be stuck whit only 1 company. so i boycott them.
iPad. But if you don't really have the money to buy an iPad then the Kindle Fire is great too. I love apple products and I will be shortly switching to using a MacBook.
