In the real world, Gelyan lives in London, and is the son of a famous lawyer. He frequently hangs out with gang members, but is not classified as a delinquent. Gelyan is very well-liked in his school and he walks the fine line between black and white.

Gelyan is observant, cunning, and will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. For him the world is a big playground and the only reason to live is to be entertained. He can be selfish but few people can see through the clever disguise. Gelyan finds pleasure in outwitting and manipulating others;  his egotistic mindset is usually his downfall.
