Neraine lives in a slum in Singapore. She was raised in an orphanage and has had to struggle every day of her life. During her years in high school, she displayed extraordinary talents in music and was given a scholarship to go to the National Art University of Singapore. Neraine is very strong willed and independent due to her difficult childhood. She tends to distrust people and does not enjoy companionship very much.

Neraine is very rational and doesn’t believe in destiny. Even though Nera lacks sympathy for victims of injustices, she hates those who feed on others' suffering even more and will do what she can to make them pay.
