You learn something new every day, whether or not you realize it right away. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Today I learned the difference between bowler hats, pork pie hats and fedoras. Before today, they were all just fedoras to me. It never occurred to me that all three of these different hat styles had different names.

I also learned that Roseanne is Jewish, and that gummy shot glasses exist.

It doesn't have to be anything life-changing or significant or anything, just something that you learned. So AG, I ask you now, what did you learn today?

I got into some trouble.

That does beg further elucidation.

I learned that the Battle of Shiloh Creek in the American Civil War killed more Americans than all previous American wars combined!
Ironically, Shiloh is a Hebrew word that means peace. I hate wars.

I wake up at 12-1pm if I don't set my alarm. 10 hours of sleep though

Today I learned that all you know can change completely in one week. Go figure this happens to me.

Today I learned that it is possible for your head to explode from sound alone. Which means that Sindra's fatality is possible in real life.

I learned that I won the castle competition, and also how to create image links using BBCode.

I will find more practical uses for it, of course.

I learned all good things must come to an end. Some just come much sooner than you think.

I learned that death is inevitable, but we shouldn't always be depressed about it.

Weren't you contemplating an army career? Maybe consider a career change

Sorry to hear it, Sal. Tends to come in waves, doesn't it. Good luck with it.

On a rather more frivolous note, I was gonna comment that just now I learned that a-foruming and busily looking up the illustrative links to accompany it and whatnot, one should never forget about that coffee maker on the stove. (No, yes, the house is still standing, thanks, and none too smokey, to boot.)

No, I never was! Why do you think that I was!
I'm not interested in serving in an army with a bunch of homos and manly chicks for our pathetic, loser, d-----bag president. :P

I learned that themastaplaya doesn't appreciate people putting their life on the line for their country. I also learned that he thinks that the army is full of homosexuals even though they are not allowed to join the army.
