Yeah, but remember when copying and pasting from word, the quotations somehow get messed up, so you should go through and retype them.

Is that "N&N and Greg Merit Guide!" why all the comments look the same? It reflects poorly on the community if everyone has a lot of nothing thoughful or original to say, or at least something that truly connects them to the game, which is worse than only saying whether you liked it or not, and that (the latter) initially says a lot, since it is essentially a form fanmail. And obviously, it is the fanmail which connects to the author, the creator, the artist, or what have you that would mean more.

I am not sure how I received merits but I do not mind much. Each of my comments is at least 30 minutes of work and are (usually) long, but I would rather like to know if the creator of the game read them and got something from it than getting a merit. They do good work creating flash games. It is not explicitly stated, but is each comment read and/or analysed thoroughly by the moderator or the game creator before it is merited?

It can not be stressed enough that merits aren't like candy being thrown from a float. This really helps reinforce that point.

Oh man, I always get the most candy from those. I will take other kids down to get my candy. Not really, but that would be awesome.

Actually typing from the notepad is better, because sometimes it messes up from it, and the notepad is more similar to the messanger box. Although in the notepad, your spelling cant be checked.

I say Microsoft word because it helps with grammar and spelling. Notepad does not.

Thanks, so many people were saying to me, "How do you get merits?" and "What are merits?"  I'd always try to give them the best answer, but I think I found a better choice for them to read...

=D

I find that writing them in Microsoft Word helps me out a lot when I am writing merits. Just a suggestion. :)

I would really love having a Microsoft Word in the English language. I only get in Spanish...
Anyways i try and do my best when im aiming for a merit.
Well this thread will help those who dont understand the rules that you gotta understand for a merit.
Good job Carlie...

Yes, moderators read the comments through before giving out merits. Previously, I think that some were skimmed, but now we are really going to be stricter on handing them out, as they should reflect the cream of the crop of responses.
