How about
Green=Online
Red=Offline
Yellow=Idle

Cool idea!
Idle can change if the user hasn't posted a comment, rated a game, forum posted in a limited amount of time. Like...30 minutes or something.

Although I'd prefer if green was "active".

(As in meaning online, and doing something)

Okay, 30 seconds is way too short and 30 minutes is way too long. Maybe 5 minutes or so?

Maybe half of the bottom thing could be online and the other half offline.

You realize that what your trying to say is having a list of around 120,000 people for offline that grows all the time.

That would be good Juan I really like it but this has been suggested before but really good idea.

Yeah, but you can open multiple tabs and chat while playing a game.

We only have 200 max online.

More than thousands. Yeah, that would be a good idea. But what if there was more than 200 people idle or something?

Then there would be no online people on the online side.
The max people have seen online is about 250.

Yes, but idle means they are online, they just haven't done anything to gain AP in the past whatever.

Mm.
Maybe we just need to stay with the online people in the past 5 minutes thing.
