I agree with you Strop...I thought something was fishy from the start...

I even Googled 'Iron Man Tribute' and 'Iron Man Sketch' a while ago...but when that proved fruitless I gave up...

So...I guess it is lucky he didn't win any competitions...his hair one is on that site too...

Terrible...terrible...terrible...

There was no battle. Nor would I intend there to be a battle.

This thread is still open because I am waiting for savorath to come back after the weekend so that he may clarify the matter here, seeing as he was unwilling to do so before.

Well, I don't want to be too hasty...I think it's best to give Savorath a chance to respond to what I've presented here before we go any further.

I'm quite aware that this kind of public censure tends to make us (moderators) look scary and stuff but we ultimately would like to encourage honesty at every step. On the other hand we also have to discourage dishonesty, so while it takes guts and we applaud those who do say "yes, I did this and it was wrong, I'm sorry", the longer it takes to do this, the less likely this is to happen and the more trouble you're in anyway.

So the other bottom line apart from "don't steal" would be "step forward sooner rather than later".

*sighs* I suspected this too... But always wants to believe...

Hey, this is a nice example of why artists should always sign their work...
Meh.

Not really, signatures are easy to remove, if it is not a watermark covering the entire picture...
This is a nice example of why you should not steal other peoples art and call it your own.

Well... That too.
But depends on how the signature is placed.
I'm still wondering if I should start watermarking, but since I hate looking at pieces with watermarks on them (it's really difficult to do without spoiling the picture)...

You may all hate me now for any reason but all I ask is you hear my story:

Wednesday, Oct. 15: The true Savorath, Zac, had applied for a job, and had been too busy for a couple of days to do anything on the comp. Then the worst of all; grounding. From bad grades... hehe. But in other words, this... this... disappointment happened when I wasn't around. The rest of the story is posted on Strop's profile.

-Savorath- (Oh! does anybody remember this!? My post signature, which doesn't occur in any of these posts? I thought that was a little strange)

Heh. If that's true, I hope your brother got what he deserved.
No real proof of anything, but I'm not here to judge anyone... Oh what a mess.

Yeah, whether or not I believe that is only of partial relevance. So I guess I'll post the bottom line of my reply, since the response is also posted here:

...the bottom line is that staff cannot tell who is using any particular account since we don't spy on you from the other side of the computer screen :P We can only tell that actions were performed through the account and therefore we must act on the account, moreso than the people who use that account.

I also don't like using watermarks. But then I'm not sure how many people would steal my art since I am ninja and keep to the quietest corners of the internet anyway.
