What if we had points for HELPING? Mods look for spam and maybe there they can give us those points. There won't give you AP but the feeling it will give you will be good!
It's a good idea, but it wouldn't encourage people to help others because you don't get anything out of it. I would gladly help people just a much as I do now even if it was implanted, but I'm trying to say that some people ouldn't try to help as much because they wouldn't get any reward for doing it.
It would be a really good idea but I'm not sure that every body would like it. Mods would get a bunch of crap from people saying, "It's not fair! I really did help all these people but you didn't give me points. You gave that guy tons of points! Wahwahwah..." Still, if you could come up with a really good system it would be a really great improvement to the site.
Wow! Juan, you need to stop contradicting yourself. Your suggestion was to give people points for helping others. then you go and say that you never wanted the prizes?

If you did not want points why suggest to get points? Whether there is a reward or not, people will help, and people will be helped. Things seem to be working well now, why add complications?
This idea is flat out bad -- why should moderators/admin award people for something users should already be doing? It makes no sense to me. People should help others without incentive. Plain and simple.
Just look at it this way. Mods will choose good users and think about it an d decide weather tey can be candidates. The HP you have will show you are very helpful and many people(mostly newcomers) would ask for your help. By a reward i mean a feeling! It will make you feel good! Please read them carefully!
