You never said I had to pick one so id take both sniper for long range and machine gun for close range.

Sniper is more fun and you are less likely to die since your target is a couple miles away...

well they both have strengths and weaknesses, but personally i would go with machine gun.

Well, it depends on your situation of course..sniper rifle if you are really far away with a lot of cover, and machine gun if you are nearby and need a lot of firepower. I guess I like sniper rifle better, more subtle, even though it is cool to watch someone firing a machine gun too.

Depends what weapon my enemy has. In Call of Duty Games, I pick Sub Machine Gun as my primary weapon, Sniper Rifle as my secondary weapon.

I like machine gun in combat, except when there are not a lot of people to see you then I like the Sniper.

Really..hard..long range ..or close range ...

In video games, I actually like to have both.

Or, if it a quick-firing sniper rifle, I have explosive weapons.
