Mine would be Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia due to the irony of the definition: the fear of long words. :P
I also like luposlipophobia for the specific definition: the fear of being chased by wolves around a small kitchen table whilst wearing new, white socks on a freshly waxed floor.
Lol both phobias, but they're just weird words so I like them.
Hey can you give a definition for less common words, just for curiosity's sake. Here's syzygy's first entries according to dictionary.com.
1. Astronomy. an alignment of three celestial objects, as the sun, the earth, and either the moon or a planet: Syzygy in the sun-earth-moon system occurs at the time of full moon and new moon. 2. Classical Prosody. a group or combination of two feet, sometimes restricted to a combination of two feet of different kinds.
3. any two related things, either alike or opposite.
Gah ninja'd by firetail. I also like antidisestablishmentarianism since it was the first long word I knew, learned about it in like 6th grade I think, maybe 5th.
Definition: opposition to the belief that there should no longer be an official church in a country
