Halo 1 - GREAT Campaign Mode and set the standard for multiplayer forever.
Halo 2 - My Favorite Campaign, and the multiplayer is very action packed, fast paced, and also needs stategy.
Halo 3 - Not as good of a Campaign if you ask me. But by far the best multiplayer when it comes to graphics, new weapons and tools. Plus has the most custimation when it comes to making a spartan or elite.
It really tied up most of the lose ends for the storyline, the game-play was pretty intense almost all the time, and the graphics were outstanding. Although I do like the entire series, all are really fun to play.
Halo CE: has a good campaign with a nice surprise around level 6, but has a laggy multiplayer
Halo 2: has a pretty good campaign and good multiplayer, but the flood in this game gave me only a "meh" response when I first saw them
Halo 3: great multiplayer with the new additions and a pretty good campaign as well with a great new armor selection, but the enemies are a little overpowered in this game then the others (brute chieftains, pure floods, etc.) which only adds to the challenge.
