I went ahead and finally made this small update to v4.0 of the guide with a few typo fixes and I added a missing step to the button guide

Enjoy!

ok i swear there was a way to make a link, but the words that you click on would be different... eg www.youtube.com would display as YouTube... or i've went insane

Don't forget, you need [b][i] in front of 'em too

Don't worry you are sane

How to do so:

I think what pang meant to do is offer a link code like this one :

{url=www.youtube.com}YouTube{/url}

All you need to do is replace '{' with '[' and '}' with ']' and the link will show up like this:

YouTube

Happy coding! =)

@MrDayCee Yes, I think you're correct about that, my dad taught me that a few days ago.

Use [ ] instead of { }

Okay, like this, right?

GiveUp

I mean, I'm already familiar with this kind of stuff (practiced making link in one of my files).

[/quote]Okay, so I'm actually pointing something out, but I'm trying a BBCode ingredient too.

You would do this:

[url=http://www.wikipedia.org]

Put the "/" in front of the ending section. The link will look like this:

Also, if you wanted to show "Wikipedia" as the link, do this: {url=http://www.wikipedia.org}Wikipedia{/url}

Replace the "{" with "[" and "}" with "]" and the link will show up like this: Wikipedia
