My pastor told me that when debating the opposition will try to change to change the subject often because they have no evedince to back up there claims.I see this is true as you guys have repeatedly tried to change the subject and can bring no evedince to show that Islam is a peacful religion.I will not talk about Christianity and how you feel there is violence in it because it has nothing to do with the thread.You may see me not talking about it as simply not wanting to but it is actually the opposite.You have not once shown me how Islam is not a violent religion and that is why you want to change the subject because you feel you can better debate whatever subject you are trying to change it to so unless you bring actual evedince for how Islam is a peacful religion I rest my case.
Good ****ing God, we're not trying to debate that Islam is a peaceful religion, or at least I'm not! I'm debating that ALL religion is violent, including Islam AND Christianity, therefore you should not think of Islam as violent because Christianity is just as violent!

Look, in debating, of course you have to stay focussed, but that doesn't mean shut yourself closed to everything that doesn't contain at least one word of the title. You have to look at a topic from different point of views, try to comprehend other's points, look at it from every direction.

JOO JUST PLAGIARISED YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not saying all religion is violent, all the time. What I meant is that only extremists are violent in Islam, and all religions have extremists, and many extremists are violent. And since I'm lazy, check out my other response to the exact same thing. Buddhism and Shinto count because I consider self-mutilation violence. The others are fairly self explanatory.

I really have my doubts that Islam as a whole is all that peaceful, and I think it's far from be able to call itself THE religion of peace. It's like Fox News calling itself fair and balanced. However I'm sure there are plenty of Muslims who really are peaceful and detest the actions of those who aren't. Just as you detest the actions of Christian extremists.
