So I know that this may be over used but maybe we could have a clan system in the AGv3 system? Basically this idea is that you could make you own clan and have your own name in which you could have separate events withing the clan.
Even newer ranks for people in a clan such as:

Clan Leader
Clan Advisor
Clan Member
Clan Organizer
Clan Associate
So on and so forth.

Clan Leader:
Basically runs the clan and can "kick" people out of a clan or "ban" them from a clan. So no they're not Mods or Admins but they just keep the clan under control.

Clan Advisor:
Basically helps with enforcing the rules of the clan and the site to newbies. Also can Advise a member of the clan to go to someone else if needed.

Clan Member:
Just a normal member nothing really special about them. They can be "kicked" or "banned" from a clan. Will really make up the majority of the clan.

Clan Organizer:
This is where some of the fun would come in. They could suggest fun ideas for the clan to do. Such as playing a muliplayer game with just your clan members. They would normally set up the event and do alot of the organizing for the game. Such as a tournament for the clan.

Clan Associate:
Just about anyone who is Associated with the clan but not really in the clan. Even if they're in another clan. When your an Associate I would just suggest that you put which clans they're associated with on their profile.

Now I was think that close to the persons name when they're on the forums you could put which clan they're in. Also somewhere on their profile.

Now I was think that for a clan they could have a bit of their own forum. Not as intricate as our just on community and maybe a few different categories but not as many as the main one. So that they can make their own activites without cluttering up the forums.

Also I was think maybe clan compettions at random times, but this would not be necessary.

I think it would be better to don't participate, or, after the conflict, you'll maybe not be liked in the clan you haven't choose.

However, if this happens to you again, choose the other clan to equal it out.

I was suggesting an option, not a strategy, but I think both are viable strategies if my idea is implemented.

Sure. After all, if you want to enter in conflict with a clan you're member, you can. It's a choice.

what if one of the clans you're in faces off against another one? How will this be handled?

We won't. As I said, phase one of groups/clans will be purely social.

I think clans would be awesome! It would be another way for us to communicate with each other! And it would just improve armor games as a whole!

I have a Idea.

How about instead of Co-Leader, why don't we call them Officers?

Leader
Officers - Moderate, Helps new users, Makes new threads, creates Games/Competitions can Kick users from certain threads from posting there for a extended period of time. Basically the right hand men of the leader.
Moderators - Moderate (Duh), Deletes bad forum posts and threads and reports very bad people to the Officers and Leader.
Members - Well.. Uh... Members.

I assume you would have to get a site on Zeta Boards or Proboards as a Website.

Also, there would be a need for a thread on these forums for a List of Groups and Clans, maybe have some Moderators there so it wouldn't get spammed with unnecessary junk.

I am saying like a 3rd party thingy through Zetaboards or Proboards, then you can advertise your clan or group by posting it on the forum list.

Get it?

Please go back and read what I've said about &quothase one" of the groups/clans. We will not have ranks.

And we won't need forums for each one, we'd probably give the group its own 'rofile' where members could post messages/comments.

Also, we wouldn't use a third-party web site to manage any of it, we'd build our own.

Could a group/clan be fully deleted (or locked) for disrespect the rules? Or just peoples concerned?

this would kill the server my friend reason being that having 1,000 clans, probably even more would make the server unstable then add on top of that all the games on the site. then you have over 1mil users and each one of them has there own page and a control panel.your idea of a clan wouldn't work because you would have to have 30people just to start your clan or there would be now member only admins and mods and planers and advisers that help maybe two people. your idea wouldn't work.

Yes, we'll have the ability to delete a group. Not sure what purpose "locking" the group would have, other than blocking messages on the group page for a while.

No, we won't restrict groups/clans to that. In fact, in phase one, they'll just be plain ol' "groups", they don't even need to be about games. You could start a "AG Players from Sweden" group, for example, and not be affiliated with any particular game.

That would be about 5 members, so no.

What about the Dragon-clan made by Eragonsdragon then? It's an EP-clan.

I think a clan can be effective even with only 5 members, so that is not a no. Besides, I think that was just an example to show that an AG3 clan does not need to be for a game.
