I love writing Haikus. My best friend taught me how to write them. He said ' It's not that hard. All you have to do is learn.' So I did and I fell in love with them. Here's my first Haiku:

Clear like Crystals
It is clear, you know
that what some don't know, we do
albeit, they will.

Thanks you Shelly sis! As always, your kind words are a constant
inspiration.
Here's to you!

Shelly
Shelly is so sweet
She says something so we swell
She is something else

I mean, something else in a very good way.

It's probably simpler than you think. A haiku consists of three lines. The first is five syllables, the second seven, the third five again. Haikus are usually about nature or the seasons. An example haiku:

Trees of the Land (<- a title that fits, but isn't the same as your first line)

Trees in a forest (<- usually topic of idea)
their mighty branches swaying (<- the action or idea)
ruling o'er the land. (<- conclusion / wrapping up idea)

And.. I guess I'll submit that as one of my pieces, then. Yeah, I just wrote it.

Trees of the Land

Trees in a forest
their mighty branches swaying
ruling o'er the land.

I walk down tunnels
Were gleams of light shine
Will they ever end?

Thanks Endscape. Thanks Deathopper.
I love your haikus.

Rain
Falling around me
sprinkling down from the sky
it makes the world turn.

About a Haiku

A question I have
Can you beat up a haiku
no, it is too strong

About the haiku that wrote about a haiku

That haiku is bad
it thinks it is so clever
I'm even better *with a wink and a rubbing of its letters*

Maybe I sound wrong
Someone call me a liar
Please don't redeem me.
