I also imagine that he might be the new go-to guy for promoting new moderators, unless we go for someone else. Just me and my imagination talking aloud.

I think this is logical, but cormyn leaving will not affect the finding of users since the "mod-finding" software should still work without cormyn.

From the OP:

You need to be at LEAST 18 years of age; if you don't share your birth date on your profile (at least the year and month), you'll never even show up on our radar. And we have backups of our user data, so don't go changing your profile birth date trying to cheat the system -- we'll ask for proof.

There's surely a difference between promoting and finding.

I think freak is probably right, as in a guy who can spot and also engage with the talent, as such?

Corymn said his software finds suitable candidates based on a range of stuff, but an admin/mod would need to engage with the candidate to prove they are suitable also because they might be found based on activity, age etc, but they would need to be checked for personality and aturity.

Since it's a software, it is hackable in theory. However, hacking will get you banned. Therefore, you shouldn't hack the mod finding software or anything else. Other forms of cheating are also bad and should get you banned if you do so and the admins find out.

Who cares if someone is cheating the software. It just find suitable candidates. You don't get to be a mod just because the software goes "oh, here's one!".

Uhm, this is not a question on what it takes, this is a GUIDE to what it takes. Please always read the opening post no matter what thread you are reading, otherwise your posts will seem ignorant.
