Australia also banned Mortal Kombat. Lol you guys suck. Is it like that with all mature rated games in America? Because I do know that the mature rating in Australia is 15 although they're changing that I believe next year.
You Australians need to bust some skulls in. Seriously, the censorship is ABSOLUTELY ****ing ridiculous. Your leaders are treating adults like they're ****ING CHILDREN. What condescending pieces of ****. If you ever see someone responsible for the ban, say "Hey, you implemented a ban on violent video games. That's bull**** because I'm still jacking off to blood and gore in books and movies. Suck my ****."
Sorry, it's just... fuuuuuu. I feel bad for you guys.
You don't need gore to have a great game, I know of several that are awesome with little to no gore.
and sometimes games are realy stupid whitout the gore. imagine manhunt or serious sam whitout gore... that would ruin the game it gives a extra feeling to a game atmosphere.
Most of the games that I like the best have no gore at all. Violence yes, but there's not sprays of blood or anything.
sprays of blood like in manga does suck. i agree whit that. sometimes i wonder why they are not swimming in a pool of blood yet. they are overdoing it.
To those who advocate not banning vile games, so you would like to see games that had Child ****, Extreme, bordering on Sadistic levels of Violence on the shelves in shops and ready for Download?

This is pretty much the definition of a slippery slope fallacy.
You haven't answered my question Kasic, would you ban a 'game' like what I mentioned from being sold in shops and websites?
It would depend on the amount/explicitness. Really, it -is- just a game, no matter how far it goes. No actual people are being harmed regardless of how much blood is spraying or whatever occurring. Most likely the answer would be no, but they wouldn't be available to people who don't fit the rating requirements.
Your question this time around is also different. Before you phrased it as asking if we would like to see extreme explicit material in games. Now you're asking about censorship in general. I want to make clear that I'm not advocating every game should include what you listed.
so you see what he is saying? wher is the line? imagane it like this, the rule need to say that from a point, a kid getting shot is wrong, but if its just a slap its ok? i mean, if they need to ban a game in which you kill masses of peoples as a psycho, they need to ba nthem if you do in on your own mind {GTA for say}? if in skyrim you can kill a kid, its ok {because its a free world, no one tell you to do so, etc.}, but if you have to its wrong? I just made some exmples {preety bad ones in seconde sight} but please, look at the base of these exmples. where are the lines? blood yes, blood of 'innocent' no? sex yes, 'vioance/tabbo' sex no?
