wow this is a late comment and someone might of already mentioned this (im not gonna read through nearly 13 pages for it) but did you know that in the united states, anti-depressants do more damage than acid (the drug)

This is because of misdiagnosis of psychological disorders and also in many cases is the result of medications being prescribed to those who are too young, or to people who do not have the disorders which these medications are designed to alleviate.

...or a vampire's. Wait a minute, don't zombies overwhelm, not bite? Anyway, you could commit suicide if you want to do so; it is your own body.

Dude, don't double post. Anyway, I think this thread has reached it's end and should probably commit Seppuku.

Oh please, you know how easy it is to make a child? In fact - look at teen pregnancy rates, number of children up for adoption and such - you'll see we're practically overflowing with new life! Who cares about one little person in a world full of so many?

Probably the friends and family of that one little person in the world full of so many?

Perhaps - however, in the long run they really won't be missed.

They will be missed, just forgotten.
Easy to forget the dead.
But that once in a while that you do remember them, you will miss them.
I don't think there are many people in the world that has NOBODY care about them, everyone has someone that will remember them, I'm sure.

What if Albert Einstein had committed suicide? Or George Washington? What if our worlds leaders had killed themselves? After all, they are only one person.. One person can make a difference.

Look... You can't say that one person is not important to the world. Humans weren't made to say, "It's just one person." No, it's a PERSON. That person won't be around, to help, to speak, in fact, he won't be able to comfort a person. A person that could have researched a great technology, become famous, and now, he won't get to see the fruits of his efforts. Suicide is just a way to cut your life short, to never see the fruits of your efforts.

It's still just one person! You can't add in 'what ifs'. As well as saying 'what if they... (insert random scientific or artistic achievement here)' because you'd also have to say 'what if they... (insert mass slaughter of millions of people)'. And since Humans weren't 'made' by anybody except their parents - we don't particularly have a purpose - so ending your life is fine.

No, it is far from "fine" we are here on this earth for a reason, killing ourselves kinda defeats our purpose. Besides, if religion is true, would you rather suffer here for a few more years or in hell for ETERNITY? There is a purpose to every being, although nobody knows it except the being that created us.
