In order to have this Quest unlock, you need to finish your combo run. Either by letting it run out on its own, or by ending it by clicking the 'End Combo Early' button in the game!
Just to add to the above post, I took the picture after I fully built it so that's why the combo isn't that impressive. Also I arranged the buzz saws in order to maximize the combos per minute that you can get. Also the buzzsaws might look like they form only two openings, the top left and right, when actually the turtles move in between the buzzsaws at the bottom and in between most of the others.
Quick pro tip #2: For the "Twenty For One" quest, you can either put a bumper somewhere in the middle as low as possible, or wait for the buzzsaw which is a lot more efficient. Make sure you put the buzzsaw somewhere low, but not too low, and you can put it near the wall for a fast 20+ combo. Some luck is needed to get the right hit, but won't take too long.
Actually, i found that did not really work for me. What i did was hit, end combo right away, and continue doing this until you have enough for machine gun. Put that down in the middle, bam, your guarenteed over 50. Only took 2 min doing my quick stop idea to get the money as well.
It is not hard. The trick is hit, then buy whatever you can, (with the exception of wind pads, i dont find they work well). If you keep stacking up on items as fast as possible, you'll finish easily, i did it in 1:20, so theres proof what im saying does work.
Another way to do it though is to place a groundsaw near the side, about a five turtle distance away from the wall, with some luck, a turtle will get stuck in between and keep bouncing between the saw and wall, easy 100! I have also done this startegy before, and it does work, so don't be afraid to try it, just takes a bit of luck.
can someone show me how to do the 100 turtle rush?
I got it by using two ground saws, one bumper, one laser, and one mine. The ground saws were set at a distance from each other (basically each side of the room), the bumper set low as possible and in the middle, the laser in the middle of the ceiling, and the mine near where the turtles come out. Only took one try that way.
What you want to be able to buy those is hammer the turtles, then after a few seconds stop the combo. Repeat several times until you have enough money for an upgrade, buy it, repeat.
Got to the 100 mark at around 2:10, but the turtle didn't hit the mine early on. You have to get them to hit it so that more turtles are flying around increasing the combo. With some luck you should get 100 at around 1:40.
See if you can get it to keep going back and forth in a small space cause then you will be able to get 100 million easily and you maybe able to get 100 in under 2 mins!
Tip
But lots of ground saws across the floor but no to far from the edge about this would do -----------. So then it would be easy because the tortoises won't be able to touch the floor!
The easiest way to get Twenty for One is with a Machine gun. It takes patience to get that much money with out any upgrades but as soon as you do the machine gun will get 20 for you incredibly easily.
For 100Million just buy a bunch of machine guns and make at least one row of bumpers going through the bottom of the possible area. The more you do the better. You will have to let it run for a while though, let mine go overnight and woke up with a 307 Million combo.
I think I've given up on the One hundred freaking million quest. I've tried a few times, but I only get around 30 millions after 8 hours. Granted, I don't have the best computer... Well, we'll see. Maybe I'll give it another try.
