i personal dont believe it but many groups have predicted it ex: mayans,hopi indians,the bible St Malachy predicted the world will end with the 112th pope; pope bendict is our 111th pope. Why would all these people predict the same date?
From a science purspective. Our solar passes through the magnetic riff. Which will create large amounts of pressure on the earths core in every direction. Idk what's going to happen but I don't think it will be pretty.

well there is a chance we could get suck into a black hole tomorrow. as the stupid french are creating 1 (just to confirm the french arnt allways stupid but this time thy r)it should last i think it was less thn a second however there is a chance it could stay and we would get sucked in!
Well, the EU has created a mas particle collider in the hope to create a black hole. With this black hole, they hope to discover the powers that created the universe. If the black hole grows out of control, howver, it will grow and consume everything in the solar system and beyond.
well i heard that ancient indians or something did have a calender that dead on accurate all the time and they said the world was gonna end in 2012 in dec. but i dont know...nah
The truth is, anyone that knows how to write the mayan calendar could have written more, they just got lazy after they passed 2012 and passed it on to the next generation, who didn't see the need to write more, and so on. That date is just the spot where the last Mayan mapmaker got lazy and stopped writing the calendar.
Well, I would say that there is more of a chance of the earth iimploding because of an artificial black hole tomorrow than the world ending Dec. 21, 2012. Also, one thing not mentioned is how the world would end. Seriously, if the worl ended on that date in 2012, how would it hapen?
ok,what i think is why would the azctecs want to keep on writing a calendar? they couldnt do it forever people! ok its like saying cavemen said the world would end because they stopped wirting on a certain date.
