i personal dont believe it but many groups have predicted it ex: mayans, hopi indians, the bible St Malachy predicted the world will end with the 112th pope; pope bendict is our 111th pope. Why would all these people predict the same date?
Anyway, why would we wait for the time when the world will end. We just need to trust in God. I myself am not worried because I know that I will be saved, so why should I worry?
No date has been set....and Pope Benedict might still be our Pope till this date...
yes...... because in the Bible it says God will kill 1/3 of the world by natural disaster (example: California wildfire, typhoon in Philippines, Earthquakes in Japan, Tsunami in Hawaii, Tornados in Mid-US, and many others) i think it might happen...........
I don't remember reading that in the bible, could you give me a name of the book, chapter, and verse?
Ya, they said in the year 2000 everything would stop working and people would die and stuff except that did not happen so this pope crap is a big fat lie too.
If you are afraid the world will end then you will go through alot MORE torture waiting for it to happen while tearing your life and body apart going mentally insane and end up killing yourself the day before it is supposed to happen only to then everyone else realize that it was just another one of those fake proficies.
just live your life not thinking about it couriosity killed the cat
Knowlage = power Humans = power hungry Humans with knowlage = want more = go insane trying to get more and/or be killed
I've read about this subject before. The APOCALPYSE is the name given to the date am i correct? Anyways, whats the chance of the world ending on that specific date? 1 in 365 (366 in the case of a leap year) Yes, the miyans, ancient chinese, and many other cultures predicted the world ending on December 21, 2012. I read about tornadoes, hurricanes, tsunamis, wildfirse, volcanic eruptions, and earthquakes ravaging the earth on that day.
Well...if you assume that time is infinite, then the odds are considerably less. (however, you may be saying the odds of it ending on Dec. 21, any year...in that case, you are more right)
@Graham: That first part was a bit extreme, and far fetched.
Says the man who said:
And also, it is totally B.S.
I find that a "bit extreme, and far fetched", that you would totally disregard the possibility.
Indians were crazy they had no tech knowledge or we would be the ones on the property reserved for crazy Indians! Still, I do not believe that the world would end December 21, of 2012.
So what if the world will end on that date? Not much we can do about it, eh? It is alright to consider the possibilities, so long as a person does not bend their life around speculation. Also, the Bible does not state a specific date when the world will end, just to clear that up.
