if the world does end on dec 21, 2012 it would be because of a multi nuclear/atomic world war.

I don't think it will end by 2012 but this is the last dispensation so it the end is near.

I don't think teh world will end, they already had dates for the world ending, but that never happened, so this isn't going to happen.

There is a possibility that something could wipe out a lot of people sometime soon though. With many countries developing nuclear weapons it is only a matter of time before someone decides to launch some.

So maybe on December 12, 2012 that will happen. I think that is a pretty exact date though, and it's not any more likely to happen on the 12th than any other day of the month or year.

nobody knows the future and the meteorologists on the news sometimes even get things wrong with days that are only a few days away. so i guess there might be some thing that happens that day but i don't think anything will happen that day

I really don't think we're in a position to decide when we think the world will end. To be honest, we can't even predict what the whether will be tomorrow with 100% accuracy. Can we really predict a catastrophe three years from now? I guess we'll see, but I don't think we're onto anything with this.

There is no possible way to know this and its not very likely. All kinds of things have been disproved all through out history. End of the world dates just get a lot of attention because, well who wants that?

I dont believe this because of my religion.

It says that no one will now when Jesus will return and then the world will end or something like that.
