i personal dont believe it but many groups have predicted it ex: mayans,hopi indians,the bible St Malachy predicted the world will end with the 112th pope; pope bendict is our 111th pope. Why would all these people predict the same date?
Every generation thinks it's the last what do you think people thought in WWII when they were being gassed don't you think people were saying Hitler's the antichrist. I don't pay attention to those kind of things we could go for 100 thousand more years no one knows when the world will end.

People read into the fact that the Mayan calender ends in 2012. Think it has something to do with the end of the world.
Also Nostradamus predicted the end of the world will happen in 2012. People will buy into anything (Think Y2K).

Restating my point, the dinosaur live for millions, not thousands of years, if I am correct. We only counted our years to 2009 so 2012 wouldn't be very accurate. Maybe year 1,002,012...
Actually, the Mayan calendar is divided from one big disaster to another. The disaster before 2012 was the coming of the conquistadors, and before that was a huge drought. They would have probably extended their calendar if they were still alive.

yea they said that it would end in 2000 and in 1990 but it didnt did it no so yea its not going to end and they are just saying it becuase of the astechs calendar and if it does end live ur life
It'll never happen in my gerneration the mayan calender says something will hapen on December 21, 2012. But it has countineud dates aftet that...So it won't end their anyone who does belive it'll happen is insane. (No offense)
