i personal dont believe it but many groups have predicted it ex: mayans,hopi indians,the bible St Malachy predicted the world will end with the 112th pope; pope bendict is our 111th pope. Why would all these people predict the same date?

I see no reason why the world would end. so on some random date meteors are supposed to drop from the sky and life as we know it will just end? WHERES THE PROOF!?!

yea its a bunch of BS....if the world ends ok...were just a speck in the universe...NOBODY will notice if were all gone...who knows we might go to a better place...

Well, for one, that's when the Mayan calendar ends. Although, I don't find that a very reliable source, since all calendars end eventually <_<

too many variations of time = no reliable source for predicting apocalypse.

No offense to anyone, but I just laugh when people are like, THE MAYANS SAID THAT THE WORLD WOULD END ON 2012. The Mayans never said that, they just stopped making their calendar...
