Do you think that advertisements are overly exaggerated? "Roll over" adds are so annoying, how are we supposed to play if every time we move our mouse, there's a popping advertisement in your screen? And the adds on the sides of the home page are, how should I say... Inappropriate? I mean, I know you want your game to get all the attention, but here's a tip: You don't necessarily need half nude people on your add to attract gamers. Duh. Let me know what you guys think about that!
Most concerns I raise I usually don't harp on about over and over again. But when it comes to an issue such as this, where it goes against my beliefs so sharply, I'm probably going to go on about it until someone says. "Yes." or "No."
Previously, some ads were removed, but given that they have always reappeared in one form or another, safest bet is no, they will never go away permanently. Of course, they have the last say, and I'm only speculating based on precedents.
Those ads certainly aren't appropriate for 13-15 year olds.
That's an opinion.
Just because it's not showing anything considered "rude" by society, doesn't mean the everyone else thinks it isn't rude. Yes, according to laws in most countries, that is considered "safe" for anyone over 13. But you forget that just because the government says it isn't inappropriate, doesn't make it not inappropriate. And I want to mention, just because it doesn't offend you or other people (who just so happen to be over 18), doesn't mean it doesn't offend anyone else. Your reasoning is: "I'm not offended. My friends aren't offended. Not many people mention that they are offended. So, it isn't offensive. The few people who mention that they are offended must be oversensitive or underage."
So, maybe you should try to see things from other people's viewpoints.
No, my exact reason is not that. My reason is, there have only been singular complaints a couple of times a month at most, hence there is little to action on. My reason isn't that not many people have mentioned this as offensive, then it isn't offensive. It's because there has been a lack of a flood of complains, indicating that people are unoffended due to their taste. The unoffended part does not stem from the fact that there have been less complains, there have been a lack of complains, hence indicating they are unoffended.
Furthermore, if people are offended, but don't make a stir, the onus is not on AG to automatically remove the ads. It's on people to make their complaint first.
I will take what the law states as the highest authority, a law stipulated and taken as acceptable by most of society concerning sexual imagery. In case someone takes this to mean I accept all laws just because of their definition as the law, and bring up Nazis as a counter, no, that is not the reason.

I find this almost amusing. They can go away. Armorgames just isn't getting rid of them. Saying they never go away just makes no logical sense to me. They can ago, and if enough people want them to, they will.

As are all things. But the way they are defined is by opinion. Every movie rating you see is an opinion. If a movie is getting an average rating of 2 stars, you can know the general opinion of people is that they don't like it. If the average rating of a movie is 4.5 stars, you know the general opinion of that movie is high. If enough people start complaining about how they don't think these Ads are good, then you can tell, the general opinion of people is, that they aren't good and should be removed.

This is entirely true, but like I said before, I see no one asking armorgames to keep these Ads, it will do no harm, and only good, to remove them.

They can, but does it mean it should? It's up to AG to decide, and if they keep appearing, despite occasional past complaints, it's not at all amusing. It's AG's decision.
Exactly why I'm making my stand here.
A small minority.

It isn't for people to voice out wanting the ads, if people remain silent about this, that's enough. It's only the people who want them removed who have to take it upon themselves to convince AG. Just because people are silent doesn't mean they don't want the ads, they just can't be arsed enough.

A minority's opinion. And so far, no, there would be little point it seems, to sacrifice revenue for
1) A small group of people. 2) A problem whereby those people can take it upon themselves to solve by themselves via a simple download.
Let's start here, if something offends you or you feel is inappropriate. Report it to this thread or me directly (Ferret@ArmorGames.com) by taking a screenshot of the ad. We will take it from there.
Dang when I last looked this up it had 3 pages of really short posts. No any more. Ok a few things: 1. I'm sorry if I offended someone but I think some people enjoy looking at inappropriate ads *cough* nichodemus *cough*. If you want to see half-naked woman, go to the millions of websites that specialize in that stuff. 2.
Lastly, the occasional complains of such a nature are rather irksome. I have never comprehended why people are so repelled of nudity and sex.
We are repelled by it being on this gaming website. 3.
I really don't see a problem with ads unless they are the MMORPGs that show a little too much skin which is inappropriate for kids seeing it and irritates girl gamers
I never thought about what girl gamers thought...................interesting. 4.
Hey, ever here of this cool new thing called ADBLOCK? Seriously, it doesn't cost money. Besides, if ads are sexual, and there ARE under 13s that don't register, their parents can get adblock, or just watch their kids better.
Ad Block? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA........GENIOUS!!!!! Ok that's all. Toodaloo Chaps!

I do. Unabashedly. I come here to play games, not to look at porno. That doesn't mean I'm going to be bothered by them.

So I assume it's only a matter of time before I start to see things clear up?

I would only guess that any reports will then be judged on their merits, not necessarily lead to any action as such... (wistfully whistling smiley here)
(What do you folks do about your kids watching TV these days, anyway?)
So I assume it's only a matter of time before I start to see things clear up?
Good sir, we have a seven-page thread of complaints with examples provided and we were just given the infinite wisdom to post complaints to solve the problem. That carrot sure is dangling close, isn't it?
We do judge a lot of the skins ourselves and have asked partners for adjustments in the past, but the choices are not always clear. We have kids of our own and we all have different opinions on the ads. Community input will be a good variable into our discussions
