Ok, in this thread you simply post whatever bands, songs, or playlists you've been listening to recently. I don't believe this is a duplicate thread but I'm sorry if it is. One rule though- don't be a music snob/ elitist. A bit of debate is fine, but don't bully anyone out of the thread. If we're all respectful and open-minded, this is a great way to share music and maybe try something new.
The past few days I've been listening to a few songs by Wintersleep: "Nothing is Anything (Without You)" , "Weighty Ghost", and "Laser Beams." Aside from those, I haven't had much of a craving for anything in particular in the past few days and I've been using shuffle on my iPod.
Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, BWV 140 by Johann Sebastian Bach It's one of my favorite organ tunes after the Toccata and Fugue in D minor, BWV 565 also by (attributed) Johann Sebastian Bach.
The Vivaldi Cello Concerto in G minor, RV417 by Da Camera Magna. I like the first and third movements. It's a vinyl recording I digitized. The three versions below don't even come close to mine but you'll get an idea.
About a Girl Come as You Are Jesus Doesn't Want Me for a Sunbeam The Man Who Sold the World (live) Pennyroyal Tea Dumb Polly On a Plain Something in the Way Plateau Oh Me Lake of Fire All Apologies (live) Where Did You Sleep Last Night?
Try to listen to these songs too they're great because the band is awesome and legendary!
