I am a christian, i and i strongly belive in my lord jesus christ, and i also belive that if you belive in him and except him as your savior, u will go to heaven. and i also believe that he created the world, not the big bang, or that we came from stupid apes.

He is right there. In fact, it is quite the opposite. The Bible gives many instances were it SAYS to stone someone, for reasons that are completely natural. Do I have to bring up the tired old link?

If the person in question is a threat to the state and his imprisonment cannot be 100 percent guaranteed, then you can give the death sentence.
What do you mean lied to and manipulated? They can think for there selves, despite being religious. Do to everyone's different view of there holy books, it means something different to everyone.

What, the ones who run away with elvis impersonators and get knocked up, those teens can think for themselves? Please they'll believe anything they can.
Not really. Not unless eating cabbage also violates the right to life. Once again different topic

Do you have a cabbage fetish?
Blaming the warped idea of communism that some countries have used as negative for the things the LEADERS have done is as stupid as blaming republic for everything negative America has done, such as virtually genocide the Native Americans.

Just like the warped ideas of corrupt popes and the Spanish inquisition, a popular subject with atheists. I'm pretty sure that didn't happen yesterday friend.

Only 23% of women getting abortions are NOT religious

this a bad stat. The key word is religous. 30% are catholic, but also ur link said 93% had the abortion for not wanting the child or because it was incovenient. Please, I want the stat for percentages of women who regret the abortion later on in life.

According to your religion, so should gays, people who had sex before they are married, etc.

Look in the abortion thread for the exact number, but THE MAJORITY OF PEOPLE WHO GET ABORTIONS ARE NOT TEENS! That is a misconception...

Do you have a cabbage fetish?

What? Fetish...an object regarded with awe as being the embodiment or habitation of a potent spirit or as having magical potency.
2.
any object, idea, etc., eliciting unquestioning reverence, respect, or devotion: to make a fetish of high grades.
3.
Psychology . any object or nongenital part of the body that causes a habitual erotic response or fixation.

Yes, I have a magical cabbage.

Just like the warped ideas of corrupt popes and the Spanish inquisition, a popular subject with atheists. I'm pretty sure that didn't happen yesterday friend.

Yes, but the current day Muslim extremist are current.

According to the ancient Bible. Say what you will, but these aren't current stances.

You can find a million statistics saying a million things. The internet lies.
[quote]Yes, I have a magical cabbage.

Wow that's cute. It just seems whenever you've dug yourself into a bit of a fix, you bring up that darn cabbage. So apparently you DO think it's magic. P.S. I totally want one.

According to the old testament. Witch is over half the Christian Bible. You could be a fancy red letter Christian, but there are still Christians that believe in the old testament.

By the way, I thought you were a Creationist, witch would be in the old testament as well. If you are going to throw part away, please be specific on what part.

In case you are a dolt, you used the incorrect word that would mean "Magic cabbage".

I would assume a good amount. There are many hate crimes against homosexuals, not many involve stones but its the general idea.

Fetish means magical, or at least the first definition does. A few posts ago I copied its definitions, look there to see what it means.

I don't know, and since you have totally disregarded all statistics that have been brought up I don't think it would be worth my time to look...

Fetish can mean a strange obsession with something. You seem to have a strange obsession with cabbage. That's all I'm saying man.

Yes shame on me for finding killing babies immoral. Bad Nurv.

First of all you take it out of context. Oh and your god promoted child slaughter, so way to follow your religion.

On a note that is NOT sarcastic, I don't care what your morals are. You are entitled to them and I will do everything in my power to make sure you keep that right. However you DO NOT have the right to force your morals upon someone else. And I will do everything in my power to defend that as well.

Evidence that homosexuality is between two guys or girls? Uhh... Evidence that it'll catch on in a few million years? You're right that probably won't happen.

No, I'm asking for one shred of evidence that legalizing gay marriage and halting the campaign of hate and bigotry against homosexuals will lead to the decline of the human race as you suggested.

Actually it is. Your stupidity and arrogance is so funny.

Umm... How am I stupid or arrogant here? I'm trying to have an educated and civil debate with you and you are resorting to name calling and insults. Yet I'm being stupid and arrogant?

And the point that I am making is that the 10 commandments state that 'thou shalt not kill'. Seems pretty clear cut to me. These were the laws of god as given to moses. Therefore they are the bedrock of the christian faith.

Either you follow the commandments or you don't. Pretty simple. Simply because the bible states elsewhere that you may kill means nothing other than the fact that the book contradicts itself.

Those were just guidelines for when you can pray in school dude.

Apparently you didn't read the other link, or the information provided on the two following links. The first link stated the facts on the case, the second was the religious people's response to the case, and the final two links gave evidence disproving the religious argument.

How many do you think are manipulated and lied to? None of course NOT.

In what respect? And I'm certain that if the manipulation of their religion condemning them to hell for having an abortion didn't stop them, I doubt any other form of manipulation would have much of an effect.

Oh well abortion violates right to life. So yeah let's drop American law document... things.

This is actually a relatively valid point, despite your usage of sarcasm in lieu of an intelligent remark. However let's take into account that the human fetus is not even conscious, aware, or capable of ANY cognizant mental capacity until after 26 weeks gestation, and less than 1% of abortions occur after 20 weeks gestation, with only ~40% of those occurring at or after 26 weeks.

So we see that half of 1% of abortions in the US occur AFTER the fetus has begun to actually 'think' or be 'conscious'. Prior to that point it is no more aware than a plant. If you want to see more evidence regarding this I posted all pertinent information in the thread Abortion V2. I suggest you check it out, or do some research on your own so you can debate from a position of knowledge and perception rather than blind obedience to a dogma you don't even fully understand.

LOL and you don't think it will be? Cause it will.

I don't know for sure, and I can't make any claims one way or another. What I can tell you is that it has been debated, delayed, edited, and discussed for going on 7 years now, when it was claimed at it's inception that it would fly through the house and senate easily.

Yeah that's totally what the Africans think. Way to be an idiot mr. walker.

Sadly it's true. And one of the less disgusting and heartwrenching ideas held by many of the African people. Here is a link to one of many places that have reported on the misconceptions and myths in Africa today:[url=http://www.matrixmasters.com/world/africa/2004_03_01_archiveafrica.html]Link Way to resort to name calling in lieu of education and intelligent reasoning.

Oh yes because communism sure brightened up the 20th century. Thanks communism!

Again. Communism has nothing to do with the debate here. You are grasping at a straw man and trying to project a position to the debate which does not have any bearing or relevance. This is nothing but an extreme diversionary tactic and serves no purpose in civil and intelligent debate.
