I am a christian, i and i strongly belive in my lord jesus christ, and i also belive that if you belive in him and except him as your savior, u will go to heaven. and i also believe that he created the world, not the big bang, or that we came from stupid apes.
And what about the science that came before Christian beliefs? Is Euclidean geometry all wrong then?
Completely blocking out forms of science and technological advancement just because they're not compatible with your religion is stupid. So much for keeping an open mind, I guess.
he meant to say "Many great scientists were Christians"

We don't block out technological advancement. We don't completely block out all scientific progress either. Evolution is only a theory at the moment, we don't have to accept it yet.
Many people believe that you can't be a scientist and a Christian at the same time, but that is not true. When I grow up, I want to be a physicist. It doesn't matter what religion you are.
I agree but there are people who take it far too seriously some people don't even think that the sun is in the middle of our solar system. I also heard someone say once that the world was on top of an infinite number of turtles. I say even though I'm a atheist that god should only help you not control you. You shouldn't base everything on god.

I think that is Hindu belief.
Yes shockingly there is a wiki page on it.
Many great scientists were scientists, like Galelio and Faraday.
Galileo was a great christian scientist yet he was persecuted by his church and accused of heresy. Put under house arrest till his death and everntually went bind. Why? because he believed the earth went round the sun.
Even though i'm an atheist, i don't have a problem with religion in itself. I have a problem when people are so blinded by religion that scientific eveidence staring them in the face is denied. Like the hundreds of years where the christian church held back scientific advancement by saying that the earth was the center of the universe, or when people deny evolution. A common misconception is that evolution cant be proven. It can. The only thing we cant prove is how life started.
How can you think it's ridiculous? We have evidence to prove that it does happen, whereas intelligent design has no scientific basis whatsoever. Also, how is the idea that genetics gradually changed species to be different any more ridiculous than someone conjuring matter from thin air? (which, by the way, has been proven impossible according to the law of the conservation of matter.

Evidence please? Especially for led, but evidence is important. Blasted, I couldn't find the link for the citation >

First of all even though you do have evidence it is not 100% true. We Christians do have evidence for our beleifs. First of all, we found the Ark that Noah made, with the Exact measurements, and exact wood that God told Noah to use in the Bible. If you say that isnt enough well then I dont know what to say...
