I am a christian, i and i strongly belive in my lord jesus christ, and i also belive that if you belive in him and except him as your savior, u will go to heaven. and i also believe that he created the world, not the big bang, or that we came from stupid apes.

First of all, we found the Ark that Noah made, with the Exact measurements, and exact wood that God told Noah to use in the Bible.

Can I see this please? lol

"Satan is strongly attacking this and other discoveries in order to deceive men of God's truth. All the false stories about finding Noah's ark were created by Satan to "muddy the water," and cause disbelief in the genuine."

And that is in the introduction to the site.

I couldn't find any bit on the site that said how many animals could fit on board. I'm assuming not several million.

Contains high-tech metal alloy fittings, as proven by separate lab analyses paid for by Ron Wyatt, then performed later by Kevin Fisher of this web site. Aluminum metal and titanium metal was found in the fittings which are MAN-MADE metals!

I don't get this. Doubting of the existence of something and doubting of who made this is diferent. I don't think anyone that don't believe in the bible said that the Ark, if real, wasn't made by a men.

The point is that the "thing" didn't get there by chance...someone made the ark.

Wow, Pixie...I know you are MUCH smarter than that. You were in the discussion on page 65. You were the one who brought that up, the only problem is that, when I told you to go look for the site that I told you about, you didn't bother. So now, I have to explain it all myself. Natural selection is proven, I totally agree with it. I called it "microevolution" a while ago, possibly in some other thread. I'm sure you can remember reading that post. Anyways, since microevolution is real, Noah needed to take only one animal from each genus...or something like that...because there were not that many species around until later.

First of (not meaning to toot my own horn) I'm inteligent at "inteligent" things. Logic and basic living requirements aren't my thing lol.

That sight mentioned that "other" Noah's arks that had been found were put their by the devil to confuse us. But how do they know this isn't another trick.

First of all even though you do have evidence it is not 100% true. We Christians do have evidence for our beleifs. First of all, we found the Ark that Noah made, with the Exact measurements, and exact wood that God told Noah to use in the Bible. If you say that isnt enough well then I dont know what to say...

1st: Good spelling/grammar=goooooood. Bad spelling/grammar=baaaaaaaad.
Anyway, do you have any other sources besides the Bible? Anything to verify it? Just because we know the wood used an the mesurements doesn't mean it happened. We need some sort of verification source, preferably another secondary source, or the only evidence you have to verify your evidence is itself.(^circular logic)

thisisnotanalt,
What he's trying to say is that the Ark was found in an archeological dig on Mt. Ararat. He's not citing the bible to back the bible, he's citing whatever archeological dig that was. sorry to just jump in at random...

I had heard of that before. But there is that story in some form in the Koran and the Torah (I think) and in many other religious texts. It is possible that Noah was a man who lived in the valley bed of the Black Sea. (Or maybe the Dead Sea or the Red Sea, I forget) There is archaeological evidence that there was a city in the bed before it flooded. They knew of no other world. So, if there was a survivor in an ark, there is a possibility that that person had written records of the event; because he would have thought that the world was flooding because that was the only world he knew. So, the story would have ended up used in religious texts to enforce fearing of their god.

One minor flaw in your explanation is that the "ark" was found in eastern turkey, therefore the entire Middle East would have had to have flooded, assuming that the ark they found was the actual ark as mentioned in the Bible/Torah/Qur'an.

Thanks! I'm sure that I've made comments in the history of this thread, more than half of my many comments come from this topic in the forums. I'll do my best to contribute, although the current argument is not suited to what I know well....

If you need it, then there's always everybody's most stalwart internet friend, Google! *da da da daaaaaaaaa*

True, but just having the Ark with those dimensions and the same wood isn't enough. There has to be some sort of evidence that proves the event, not just the existence of the ark itself. For example, we know that bigfoot(AKA Gigantoipithecus) existed, but we don't know whether the species is alive today. We have evidence of a related thing, just not the event itself.
