Think its not the devs. Afaik the game dont have online-save, so its local, which means the isssue is on your side. You or your computer/a program running on your computer delete save datas. Computer/programs could do this automaticly so check and maybe change the settings. Or it was an accident on your side.
Nother thing that maybe cause the issue: you changed the browser, browsers use different locations to save datas, so (example) IE cant find the datas from chrome and vice versa. So if you changed the browser use the old again and see if that helps.
Otherwise you have to start again, just make sure this time your datas are not deleted^^
This was not a problem on my side. None of the things you said are true or valid. When game updates are installed on this and other game sites, this frequently negates the existing save game data and you have to start over.
Your comments have nothing to do with the point of my message. The problem is the extended time between game release and quest release which is frequently raised as an issue on the site. The long quest release times often require you to play games over from scratch to get quests because they either reset the game via updates or the quests refuse to be recognized for players that have already finished the game. These are long-standing issues on that site that many people have raised.
To address your specific comments, my computer does not delete any save data. It never has because of the settings I use. I have zero programs which automatically clear data and all of my browser settings on Firefox are fully manual. I never clear the cache or cookies automatically, only manually. I was playing the game one day and then the next day my save data was gone. My cache and cookies were still as they always are.
Also, I never change browsers. I disabled Explorer years ago and I don't have any other browsers set up.
Erile -- I don't know if this was a coincidence or not, but when I logged in my laptop on my college network (as opposed to home), most of the quest achievements kicked in. Same computer, different login network. Maybe it's worth a shot?
Otherwise, I agree with you -- there should be more "legacy" built in to these quests. The only one that hasn't kicked in is one of the longest -- the "Max Out" (everything to Tier 6), and I'm holding out on restarting in case the devs tweak something to have that finally register.
I agree with the comments lamenting how long it takes quests to come out.
Not really a problem for me as most of these games I've never played before, but I agree that the quests should be on the new release games, so no one will have these problems.
I have way too much fun with this game. I've already finished it 3 times. xD I like to mix the different element spells, it really wreak havoc on the enemies. The fire wall, the plague and the frozen spell are great because strong enemies get stuck in the flame while being plagued. xD Those creepy hands are great too because they keep the enemy from coming too fast then when you shoot ice at them they back up and have to go through the hands again! The gargoyle throwing 3 balls are good for desperate situations as well.
I got all the quest in the same day, the first time I finished the game.
I didn't seem to have the problem though, even if there were updates. And I think that SK is saved locally. Think. You could as a last resort, try asking the admins directly whether they can do anything about such Quests that require you to restart the game.
For the "Live Together, Die Alone" achievement, just be cautious. Repeat some levels if they seemed difficult and get your spells/equipment leveled up before moving on to the next one.
