What was the last thing to subvert your expectations?

My report card. I was expecting all of my grades to be excellent, but instead, two of my grades turned out to be mediocre.

apldeap's basically summed it up. My grades are far worse than I've anticipated.

But the real question is: What did your parents say?

I expected Top Gear to still be kicking with Clarkson and the other two lads.

Well Hammond and May dropped out due to loyalty. That was expected though, in what I thought was the unlikely event they drop Clarkson.

I was expecting to be much taller by the time I was seventeen. I guess it didn't work out the way I wanted. ;(

The Same with me about my Marks. I have scored an overall percentage a little above 90 in the annuals. But I had expected it to be atleast 95 or more...

I got 81% but I expected 85-90.sob sob...

What's the weirdest thing you've ever gotten stuck in your nose?

Nothing, my expectatives are always worse than the worst possibility there is, like, i do a test on school, and i think: "i bet i'll get a 0/10" even through it's my favorite subject, so then, this way i can say that everything was better than my expectatives...
but the most recent thing that would be below my expectatives if i weren't so pessimistic, is my report card! i have some grades like 10/10, 9/10, but some like, 3/10 and such...

That happens! We have to improve in such low scoring areas.

I'll save this thread from dying (but i'm just making a question...)
