I went training on my mountain bike. On Friday I went for my 30 miles (48 km) ride. On Saturday I did 10 miles at full speed, and today I went up my favorite steep hill. Usually I go up in 9th speed (medium chain ring) and it takes about 1:30 min. Today I started going up and my legs were burning a little so I though man I'm not in good shape today. I finally reached the top and I felt dizzy a little and it took me a couple minutes to catch my breath. I pushed the lever to get back on the big chain ring when I realized I was already on it. So I ended up climbing in 17th instead of 9th. xD
I still had 4 more hills to climb so I wasn't sure if I was up to it but I went up the next big one in 23rd with a good momentum so my legs were okay.
If things keep going like this I should be back in top shape in 3 months instead of 6.
So people on road bike watch out, SSTG's back! (almost) xD

When I was at my peak (before I got sick) I could ride 30 miles in 88 minutes on a mountain bike. I intend to do it again and beat my own record! I could beat even people on road bikes except for this guy who has a 52 tooth chain ring while my bike can only take 48 max. It's kind of hard to beat someone who's in equal shape but has more speeds, a lighter bike and narrower wheels. >
You better train hard then, you don't want to lose against an old man! xD
Already biked 3 miles today, to get ant traps, and im getting a new tire for my old mountain bike too! Im starting up quick! And im running a lot too, dont forget.
