To get Dodge Fight, do I need to defeat all 8 bosses? or could I just beat the last 4 bosses without the droids?
A few things:
1) There are 10 bosses in the game, though progress from previous runs may result in future runs skipping earlier bosses.
2) For Dodge Fight, all you need is to defeat all bosses from the one you start on to the final boss without having a drone or getting hit. Dodge Fight is for normal mode.
@twillight2 & @Olinser Surprisingly you both managed to help me. I took tips from both of you and they both helped to complete Mission Impossible. I was saved several times by lag spikes but preferred to play without lag. I also found it depended on which bosses you got. I was lucky. I got spider twice, cactus once, rock golem once and ground monster once. (Regarding the ground monster it IS possible to track from side to side to avoid the homing bugs. You just need lots of concentration and must pay attention to the little grass-like patches that appear before the small bugs appear)
Delete your saved data, then work way to 3rd boss. It will work. I do advise you get other quests you need before deleting though.
The bug should be fixed so that you don't have to restart every single game from scratch in order to get quests. Otherwise the quests should say "requires playing game a second time" as part of their requirement. I don't have time to replay every single "quested" game on AG from scratch in order to earn quests.
Tried this game after a few months of failing to get the 2 endless mode quests. Got both 8 below (2 tries, failed 1st one at 7th boss) and Mission Impossible (1 try), and I have to say I overwhelmingly agree with twilight2 regarding lag
My game was VERY laggy, probably because I had another flash game open as well as 2 youtube videos (1 playing, 1 buffering). Also was using mouse control, not sure if that makes a difference
This only served to make it much easier to dodge bullets, because the response time for small movements of my character didn't change significantly while the bullets were slowed down significantly. Admittedly, my character did move very slowly when moving across large distances on the screen, but I didn't have much reason to do this during my run
@ShirohigeX:
I had the same problem. Here is what worked for me:
I deleted my saved data and started a new game. I bought only upgrades for speed and health and repeated playing the first three levels (well mainly the first level) till I got the achievement.
There are still sone things unclear to me: Do all the bugs count or only the blue ones? Do kills from the drones count?
I'm afraid I won't be able to verify any of them because I now got the quest.
