@thunderrider Bloodbound, Swarmling Domination and Endurance are not available for non-premium players.
Grinding on glaring with max settings (well, 6 traits only) gives enough XP in non-premium, but the maps to do it are limited to early maps or maps with favorable gem types.
Non-premium is definitely grind-heavy, but it's not like you need levels above 200-250 either.
Well I've beaten the game without premium when I was like wizard level 80. All you need is: - a pure yellow for damage (enhance with bolt&barrage).- tome at R1 - a pure orange for mana (enhance with beam) - tome at B5 - lots of fragments with %damage against giants (I had 70%)
Okay...still having trouble with H4's skill tome. Thought maybe enraging each wave with at least one grade 1 gem would work. Anyone know of possible alternatives to opening that skill tome?

Enrage swarm waves with 4x grade 3s and use beam. Enrage reaver waves with 1-2 grade 3s.

You do know that the only enhancement spell I have is Bolt, correct?
Plus, Bolt seems to be a good enough substitute until you get Beam, from what I've witnessed. Grade 8 red-green gem + Bolt = Pwnage.
Reason being, that's how I got H4's skill tome a few minutes ago. Enraging waves like crazy, then spamming Bolt in an effective way. Works like a charm.
I just finished X5 in both charged and not charged, and just got the S hextiles. Can't seem to do anything after this. Does there is no playable level in the S hextiles?
Just did a maxed-out playthrough of field F4, surviving as long as I could...
...and I got some 50k experience from it thanks to all the battle traits. Also got my first rarity 20+ talisman fragment: 23 rarity, to be exact. Pretty good haul, eh?
Going to start grinding Shadow Cores so I can upgrade that sucker. Higher max freeze charge, extra damage to swarmlings, and more of my wizard level goes towards initial mana and XP. I'd say it's a pretty good haul for what it is. Too bad I only got one...
@m0omb4 In journal note wizard writes "I'll have to prepare myself first" I suppose that this means beating everything on haunting. Even if beating everything on haunting would unlock S1, there is bugged field, nobody could unlock N7 yet.
