Hi, I am level 3142, and I am going to be the first to get a grade 100 gem.
How did I get specs obscenely high? Well, thanks to this dude over here...
One important thing to note is how to create dual gems. Adding two grade one's them spamming U is losing about 33% special power.
Optimal creation is a G1 of both, combine, make a G2 of each, add one pure to each dual, combine the G3s, duplicate, and repeat with pure G4s, duplicate the 6, etc.
here is the difference at g34: Regular creation: http://prntscr.com/3dgs2c
Special Mix: http://prntscr.com/3dgs6k
Note that the hit count is the same, and the cost to duplicate is the same. This is a difference of 32.9%, and this difference keeps rising at higher levels. It's only a 16% difference at grade 6. It takes a decent amount of time, but it is worth it at ultimate grades (45+).
I now have huge specs. It takes me about 20-30 seconds real life time to get +1 grade. So a minute before +2(needed if want extra specs). I estimate my specs to be about 80% higher than normal, at least blood is.
PS- Level 46 amps got the spec treatment too, they are wicked.
whats the current record? 80? i think this game ill just beat whatever the current record is by 1-2 grades then stop, and pick it up fresh again later with all the knowledge ive gathered to advance me a few more grades
im thinking ill get 82-83 this attempt, and 85+ another attempt
about to have the gem grade record in 4th consecutive version =]
Conner and thunder: could you pls check what mana u get with a high grade gem in a trap if you just kill a single low lvl low hp monster with your mana trap. i dont get as much mana as my gem says i should.
mana before: 401,891,205,523,460,600,000 mana after a 900hp monster: 401,891,583,857,537,060,000 diff: 378,334,076,460,000
in the last game i compared a normal upgraded and a supergem. supergem mana(dual black orange) was 80% better compared with a lvl 63 gem of the same costs.. think it gained +3% per lvl.
Well I have made some tests, tried this supergemming strategy, but the optimal upgrading -explained in the 1. page of this topic- just seems better for the same mana cost.
thats compared to optimal dual upgrading with the method weve been using
if you actualy compared a 1:3 supergem to just pressing "u" it would probably gain like 10-15% per level, and by grade 80 is like literlay 10+x better
and poghy, the supergemming is absolutely better or youre doing something wrong in how youre combining them. i have many examples of gems the exact same mana cost having double the stats
when i deleted my grade 73 mana gem and pumped out a 73eq supergem, it was a 60% mana per wave increase
I tried a lot of combinations from my starting mana to create a g12eq dual gem and best result I had was with the "optimal" dual gemming. Maybe you are doing wrong the other strategy. But please make a video and prove that Im wrong.
no trust me im doing the dual gemming correctly, i would not have made it into the mid 70s on my mana gem by wave 25 if i wasnt. the supergemming is just better, you might be doing it at too low of a grade because by like 60+equiv its decisively better
Mana Pool Multiplier doesn't affect mana gain gems anymore.
Neither does orblets.
So it's rather baffling lol. Unless unknowingly it hit +3 monsters and/or hit the same monster multiple times before flash realized it was dead?
And...1:3. Okay, but like, that multiplies the slow and red components, or in a triple gem, multiplies red too much. how do you reduce/remove the red and/or keep it only as a grade 1?
