The Old Formula:

Each Game Rating is worth 2 points.
Each Comment is worth 2 points.
Each Post is worth 1 point.
Each Game Submission is worth 20 points.
Each Merit is worth 25 points.

Note: Likes do not have a point value because the Disqus system was added after the removal of AP.

The Old Rank Scale:

Wood Serf: 10 points
Iron Serf: 25 points
Gold Serf: 100 points
Wood Squire: 225 points
Iron Squire: 400 points
Gold Squire: 625 points
Wood Knight: 1200 points
Iron Knight: 1750 points
Gold Knight: 2250 points
Wood Lord/Lady: 3000 points
Iron Lord/Lady: 3500 points
Gold Lord/Lady: 4000 points
Wood Duke/Duchess: 4500 points
Iron Duke/Duchess: 5200 points
Gold Duke/Duchess: 6000 points
Wood Prince/Princess: 7250 points
Iron Prince/Princess: 8500 points
Gold Prince/Princess: 10,000 points
Wood King/Queen: 12,000 points
Iron King/Queen: 14,500 points
Gold King/Queen: 17,500 points

Note: Some people prefer to substitute "Silver" where it says "Iron".

Note 2: Where there's a slash, it means the rank depends on gender.

My Calculation:

1,464 Game Ratings * 2 = 2,928 Points from Game Ratings
1,700 Comments * 2 = 3,400 Points from Comments
3,319 Posts (incl. this one) = 3,319 Points from Posts
0 Game Submissions * 20 = 0 Points from Game Submissions
4 Merits * 25 = 100 Points from Merits

Total AP: 9749, putting me at Iron Prince.

1077*2 = 2154, 4813*2 = 9626, 4198 (+1 for this comment = 4199^^), 24*25 = 600... all in all 16579 AP

Gold king... was 17.5k AP? So still roundabout 1k under gold, but i have surely reach iron.

If I did my math right I have 11710 points, putting me at Gold Prince. I ended the point system at Silver/Iron/Whatever Prince, so I really should be further along. Maybe I should be active again or something...

I'd be a Wood King. Hmm. I still earn AP at the slowest rate of anyone who is consistently active. ~6 yrs. ~12k AP. ~2k AP/yr ~5 AP/day

Total: 1,661 AP. Close to an Iron Knight. I'm a wood knight for now.
