Well this thread is branched off of the Mudkip drawing thread. This will be the same accept for a new rule.

RULES
All pictures must be made using MS art.

The pictures must be appropriate (I will accept constipated Pikachus )

The pictures must of course be of the pokemon stated.

There will be a designed date for all entries. No prizes unless a md wants to. The real prize is knowing that you own at drawing pokemon!

Well, I will go first,
EVERYONE, draw a Pikachu! The start date is now, and the end date is July 10th.

The first contest will be judged by me, and I will chosee the winner. The winner then chooses a new pokemon, and he/she is now the judge. If the winner declines, the judging and assigning duties will go to the runner-up chosen by the prior judge.

So now! Go draw some Pikachus!

Ok...time for the looooong judging.

Firstly, I have to mention the numerous conversations in the thread over the round about 'art theft.' Seeing the numerous borderline flame wars that happened was saddening, for two reasons:

1. If the people are doing art theft then it is sad that they are stooping that low to try and win a simple competition.
2. Everyone's reaction is over the top and it may be making the people who aren't doing art theft leave AG after recieving a bad reception.

So, if you are doing Art Theft then please stop...and if you think someone is doing Art Theft then please notify a moderator rather then spamming up the thread with the debate over it!!!

If you are worried about being accused of art theft then try and make your entry in a different position to that of the common drawings on Google Images. If you are going to trace it, then maybe change the the legs or something...

So, onto the judging...

Champ's Exhibit - Cenere

A very nice entry once again Cen! A few of the lines are a little messy and the water effect is a little interesting, but overall a very, very good entry.

Well deservant of the Champions Exhibit.

First Place - Ze...no wait, Zophia

As was expected. A very nice entry once again Zoph! The background is slightly weird, but overall it looks really good. It is a nice take on the look of Horsea.

The face is slighlty oblongated though, it looks like it has been stretched a bit, but on first glance that doesn't detract from the overall picture (it's only noticable if you stare at as long as I have!)

Second Place - Zega

So funny Zega, soooo funny. I really don't know if what I assume is under the censored is what you thought of when you drew it, but a Horsea with a carrot for a nose definitely needs to be censored.

Nicely drawn, I don't know why the ground is disecting the body...but on the whole a good job.

Third Place - RaptorExx

A nice Horsea although it looks slightly evil! The bubbles are effect and so is the shadow effects that you used.

I believe it is missing a wing though...

The Sketchy Award - Pixie214

A nice job! Some of the lines are a little bit sketchy (as the award states) and maybe next time use a thicker brush. The end of the nose is a little strange....

The I'm Still Learning Award - Parrot657

The reason for your award is that although the entry is a bit rough, there is definite potential. With a little bit more practice I can so you doing a lot better!

The expression looks sad...*hugs horsea*

The Fish Outta Water Award - Goumas

An interesting take on the concept of Horsea! I really don't understand how the Horsea would be able to do weights and stuff...but good job.

It doesn't even have arms...

The Shark Tale Award - Gizmo00999

This reminds me of the movie Shark Tale. The horsea is just about to fall over. It is very accurately drawn yet the body is transparent...which is strange.

Maybe try differing your drawing a bit more than just tracing it.

The Cubist Award - SoulHack117

First of all, welcome to the country...err...I mean competition. An interesting entry which uses an interesting brush. Some of the colours are a bit off, but I can't really tell.

Good job.

The Final Entry Award - Sourwhatup2

Yeah! It's the final entry! A good job, slightly small but on the whole well drawn. Like I said to Gizmo, try and differ it a bit more from the original.

The bubbles look cool.

Actually I retract that statement because Cenere really wanna join in on a Ponyta round. So... Instead, it shall be Swellow. I hope no one minds this (already asked Zega who seems to be the only one who pounced immediately).

Yes, i got the idea from there xDDDD i didt watch it, but somehow remembered it xDDD

No, the body or wing is not transparent, it just looks like that xD
