Are you guys drunk enough to indulge in another game of P'phnart yet? I want to try this new deck I've just gotten. The Undead deck is my most powerful one but it's got a few customs in as well, some of those cards were too rare and I could only find those non-english versions after a long and hard search. Took me a while to figure out what they do too
But now I've just gotten this Optics deck and it looks very promising, even though different in nature and style. Who is up for a game? *reveals a deck of fancy colored cards*
Well, if you don't mind, @FishPreferred expressed an interest in joining last time I would wait a bit more to see if he still is. The more players in a game, the more interesting it gets (sadly I forgot to tag him in the last post).
Huh, P'phnart?
I'm always in!
I'll use my Drunken Delirium deck!
Just kidding, I only have one P'phnart deck...
Can I have some mineral water, please?
*Looks for deck in sack*
*Understands it's somebody else's sack*
*Produces deck from a pocket*
But this time, I will play for real!
{I actually turned P'phnart into a real life game}
{My friends enjoy it a lot}
{Remember: two black jacks (of spades and of clubs) block all decimal damage attacks (15.35, etc)}
{This once won a game for my buddy Kostian}
Now check out this style!
*Shows the deck: it's usual playing cards...*
It's a complicated strategy but it will do.
(We need to turn this into a real game. With special decks of skulls, dust, scales, optics and whatever else each with its own play style It's going to be interesting xD )
Alright *shuffles the Optics deck*
I say we start playing tomorrow if Fish has not yet joined
Also, to everyone else. If you are interested in joining, now's the time xD
{You know, the beauty of P'phnart is the LACK of rules, not the rules themselves}
{Moreover, each player has their own playstyle: yours is mostly based on cards and their varieties, Chryos' - on status effects and general ideas (sacrifice points, etc.), mine - on magic words and external items}
{When it comes to real life, decks of cards are good (Usual, tarrot, other card games), but the best asset is your imagination. You use souvenirs, banknotes, chess pieces, rubic's cubes; an ornate glass filled with wine becomes the central piece of the playing field}
{Just like in the Tavern, alcohol makes things awesomer when it comes to P'phnart XD}
And...
*Produces a white bishop chest piece*
The Mad Bishop! I dictate the religious ruleset of the game.
We shall worship... hmmm...
Catalonia, The Mistress of Dolls.
